Once you've submitted your application, you'll receive a confirmation number along with details about the reporting time and the location of the test center. GRE Registration by Phone  


To schedule your GRE test at the Regional Registration Center (RRC) in Gurgaon, Haryana, you'll need to call Prometric at 91-124-4147700. It's important to make this call at least two business days before your preferred test date. During the call, you'll be given a confirmation number, reporting time, and the address of the test center.


GRE Registration by Fax  


To register for the GRE test, you need to print and complete the application form for the year 2023. After completing the form, send it along with the registration fee to 91-124-4147773. It's important to note that the application form must be received at least seven days before your preferred test date.

GRE Home Test Fee  
 

The GRE at Home test is the best option for candidates who prefer to take the test from the comfort of their homes. Keep in mind that the GRE at-home test is widely available worldwide, operating around the clock, seven days a week. It's important to note, however, that this service is not available in Iran. The tests are monitored by a human proctor online. Since the Pandemic, the GRE at-home test was started by ETS to let domestic & international students take the test safely. GRE Exam Fee: Cancellation Charges

Candidates who wish to cancel their GRE General Test must do so four days before their test date to be eligible to receive a refund equivalent to half of the GRE test fee. Candidates should note that there are no cash refunds, and the refund amount would be in US Dollars and be credited back to the original credit/debit card or bank account via which the payment was made.

Candidates from China (general test) incur a GRE rescheduling fee of $53.90, while those in other countries pay only $50 to reschedule the GRE general test. Worldwide, subject-test rescheduling carries a cost of $50. Furthermore, candidates must pay an additional $50 for each alteration made to their testing center for both subject and general tests.

GRE Exam Fee: Rescheduling Fee

Candidates must reschedule their GRE General Test registrations at least 4 days before the scheduled date; failing to do so will result in a forfeiture of their exam fee. Additionally, candidates who desire to change the subject for their GRE Subject Test, a modification that carries a $50 charge, can make this alteration but at an extra cost. The process requires INR 5,000 as a GRE reschedule fee for rebooking your GRE test with newly chosen subjects replacing the old ones.

Candidates from China (general test) incur a GRE rescheduling fee of $53.90, while those in other countries pay $50 for rescheduling the GRE general test. Worldwide, subject test rescheduling carries a cost of $50. Similarly, candidates must pay $50 to change their testing center for subject and general tests.

GRE Fee Waiver

The GRE Fee Waiver, also known as the GRE Fee Reduction Program, is a program that provides a discount on the test fee for individuals who demonstrate financial need. Those who qualify for the program may pay a reduced fee of $100 to register for the GRE General Test or 50% of the regular test fee for a GRE Subject Test. The program is available to college seniors, unenrolled college graduates, and unemployed individuals. Eligible individuals may also receive free access to GRE test preparation materials. To apply for the fee waiver, students must complete the GRE Fee Reduction Request Form and submit the necessary materials to ETS.   
 

Needy students can receive a GRE fee waiver through the GRE fee reduction voucher program, which operates on a first-come, first-served basis.

  • GRE reduction vouchers must be sent by students.
  • Their family income must be included in their FAFSA student aid report (SAR).
