Go beyond traditional courses to examine new approaches to marine science. The Master of Marine Science and Management is multidisciplinary and cross-institutional, giving you access to a comprehensive set of approaches and methods unique to the field.

Your study will explore information systems and remotely sensed data analysis. It also covers the impact and use of marine science on legislation and management in marine and coastal zones. The Bachelor of Interior Architecture (Honours) at UNSW is a four-year full-time degree, where you’ll learn how to improve the interior environments in which we live, work and play.

This specialisation will develop your skills in critical thinking, researching, planning, and presenting conceptual projects. You’ll understand the intersection between entertainment, politics, and aesthetics, with a critical exploration of political cinema, cult film, experimental and mainstream movies.

Mining engineering develops and executes the processes used to extract minerals from below and above ground. As a mining engineer you’ll work in the planning and management of engineering the extraction of mineral, petroleum and gas resources from the earth.  Mining Engineers evaluate, plan and oversee the construction of a mine. They’re involved in a project through all phases of mining operations.

This degree is designed for mining engineering graduates and minerals industry professionals who want to continue their professional development. In this degree you’ll learn the fundamentals of mining engineering, mining processes, systems and analysis, and risk and safety management, as well as undertaking a research project in the mining industry. The UNSW Bachelor of Architectural Studies is a three-year degree when studied full time. Here, you will learn to design buildings and their surrounds to meet the needs of the people who use them. Taking sustainability, culture and the economy into consideration – you’ll participate in design studio sessions and lectures that cover a range of engaging topics and academic subjects. These include everything from architectural design to architectural communications, architectural history and theory, architectural science, the built environment and technologies, and architectural construction and structures.

This double degree is designed to allow students to gain accreditation as both Engineers and Surveyors, which gives them flexibility in their future careers.The Civil Engineering degree provides students with an excellent grounding in theory and applications, through the study of structural engineering, geotechnical engineering, transport engineering and water engineering, as well as construction and management.

The Surveying component prepares graduates for opportunities in the various branches of Surveying and the numerous Spatial Information disciplines. The degree covers general scientific and IT principles, as well as specialised Surveying and Spatial Information topics.
