Their most common application is in the diagnosis of ailments ranging from simple bone fractures to dreaded tumours. More advanced uses arise in the studies of human anatomy and physiology. Medical Radio & Imaging Technology encompasses varied techniques in X-Ray study and Ultrasound to MRI and Nuclear Medicine.

In the 21st century the Electrical Vehicle Technology (EVT)is making a comeback. A battery electric vehicle (BEV) and Plug-in Hybrid Electric Vehicles (PHEVs) are the most popular examples of EVT.
