• Go to the official website of Educational Testing Services (ETS). 
• Make a GRE profile on the web. You will need to provide all necessary data that may come in handy when applying for college or sending your scores.
• Submit the GRE exam form. 
• Pick the year you want to take the examination and the nearest testing center. 
• Pay the registration fee of approximately US$271 (close to ₹22,550). When you are redirected to the payment page, double-check all the exam information. 
• Confirm and submit your application. 
• Print out your details and save the submission details for future reference. Make sure you keep the acknowledgment receipt safe.

What are the alternative approaches to signing up for the GRE exam in India?

 GRE Registration by Mail : 

Get the GRE application form printed for the year and fill it in, before mailing it to the address given beneath, along with the registration fee for the examination. The form should be sent to the center no less than three weeks before selecting the earliest testing date. You will be notified by email, post or fax of a reporting time, confirmation number, and the address of the test center.

 GRE Registration by Phone:

In order to book your GRE test date, you should call either the Regional Registration Center or Prometric in Gurgaon, Haryana. The contact number is 91-124-4147700 and you should place the call at least two working days before the test. Once you have made the call, you will be provided with a confirmation number, the address of the GRE test center, and the time at which you must report.

 GRE Registration by Fax:

Print the GRE application form for the year and mail it to 91-124-4147773 with the necessary fee. The form should be received by the authorities at least one week prior to the selected test date.
