The University of Delhi(UoD) announced the total number of vacant seats for the special spot admission round on September 18, 2023, at 5:00 PM. 

Registered candidates can now check it at the Delhi University (DU)  official website – https://admission.uod.ac.in/.  Candidates can apply for the special spot admission round until the deadline, September 20, 2023, at 4:59 PM.

From September 18 to September 20, 2023,  eligible applicants must apply for the special spot admission round. This offers a valuable chance for individuals who have yet to obtain admission in prior rounds.

The University will announce the DU Special Spot Allocation Result at 10:00 AM on September 21st. Applicants who are accepted must quickly acknowledge their acceptance of the assigned seats within a 48-hour period, starting from September 21st to September 22nd, 2023.

The online applications submitted by candidates will undergo thorough review and approval by colleges, playing a vital role in the process. This verification and approval period is scheduled to take place from September 21st to September 23rd, 2023. 

Candidates must complete the online payment of admission fees as the last step. It is crucial to meet the deadline for this task, which is September 24, 2023.

DU special spot round 2023: Who is Eligible?

The 'Special Spot Admission' option must be chosen on the CSAS dashboard by candidates who fulfill the eligibility requirements.

• Candidates who had submitted their applications for admission to DU CSAS in 2023 and were not assigned any college during the announcement of the special spot admission round will be qualified to participate.

• Once the special spot admission round is announced, candidates who are admitted will not have the option to withdraw their admissions.

• Participants who were assigned a seat in the first and second rounds of spot allocation in DU will have the opportunity to take part.
