Edith Cowan University Joondalup Campus

Western Australia's Edith Cowan University (ECU) is a public university. It is the only university in Australia to be named after a woman, Edith Cowan, the first woman to be elected to the Australian parliament. Since its founding in 1991, ECU has profited from the chance to transform the way higher education is offered in a creative and motivating campus setting.

More than 300 courses are provided by the university at its three locations: two metropolitan campuses in Joondalup and Mount Lawley, one regional campus in Bunbury, which is located 200 kilometres (120 miles) south of Perth, and many online courses. The University's main campus is in Joondalup. 

The Joondalup Campus is accessible to rail connections and Perth's main motorway and is situated 25 kms from the Central Business District of Perth. The campus is a part of the Joondalup Learning Precinct, which also houses the Western Australian Police Academy and West Coast TAFE.

• The Student Village at the Joondalup is operated by the university housing provider Campus Living Villages
• The village offers a contemporary, welcoming setting and comprises single and multi-room units with shared self-catering facilities
• Many different apartment designs, including recently built apartments, accommodate different budgets
• All new developments include housing that has been certified by the National Rental Affordability Scheme and offers residents rent at a discount from market rates
• The town is inside the university grounds, near all the amenities. Local stores and facilities for sports and recreation can be reached on foot or with ease using public transportation.

Students can apply for a scholarship during the 'open for application' time. There are specified opening and closing dates for each scholarship.

The Australian Research Council Centre of Excellence for the Digital Child is a research center that aims to promote positive digital experiences for all children in Australia. It is the first of its kind in the world, with a specialized focus on studying children's interaction with digital technology.

• 2023 and 2024 International Undergraduate Scholarship:

ECU provides the International Undergraduate Scholarship to students from specific countries who are seeking a Bachelor's degree and belong to other nations. The scholarship provides a 20% discount on the tuition fee.

• 2023 and 2024 International Undergraduate Merit Scholarship:

The International Undergraduate Merit Scholarship is offered to international students from selected countries who can demonstrate high academic achievement in their previous studies.
