UNSW Global, owned by UNSW Sydney, offers pathway programs for international students to university. With a longstanding commitment to international and transnational education, UNSW was the first in Australia to offer a Foundation Studies Program, and also established the first university language centre in the country.
More recently, our offerings have increased with the addition of Diplomas and our newly established, fully online programs. With campuses in Sydney and our programs available to study around the world, we’ve helped more than 40,000 students reach their university dreams over the past 50 years.
With all this experience, our goal is to provide a supportive transition to a degree at UNSW, whether you choose to study at the Sydney campus, in your home country or online. You can build your confidence and master important academic and English language skills, while getting practical experience and personal support to make the most of your university studies.

With a convenient location close to Sydney city and directly across from UNSW Sydney, our main Kensington campus is the heart of UNSW Global. UNSW Sydney International Student Award
Start a Diploma Program in 2023 to receive a 15% contribution towards your tuition fees. This award is available to students from eligible countries/regions who are starting their UNSW Diploma studies in 2023.
This award is available to students from eligible countries who are starting their UNSW Diploma studies in Terms 1, 2 & 3 2022 or 2023. To apply for the UNSW International Student Award applicants must submit a personal statement of no more than 500 words outlining their reasons to study the proposed program at UNSW. Find out more
UNSW Pathway Scholarships
If you are a high-achieving international student, you can receive funding towards your Foundation Studies or Diploma Program at UNSW Global.
Everyone is eligible for UNSW Pathway Scholarship consideration; there is no separate application. If you apply for the Standard, Standard Plus or Extended Foundation Studies or a UNSW Diploma program, you are automatically in the running, based on your academic results. The UNSW Global Admissions team will assess each application and scholarships will be awarded based on academic merit.
If successful, your scholarship details will be included in your offer pack. The value awarded will depend on your level of academic achievement so far.
Note: UNSW Global reserves the right to, at any time, remove scholarships, reduce the value of individual scholarships, or cease its offering of scholarships to eligible students without prior notice.
UNSW Global Academic Award
If you successfully complete a UNSW Foundation Studies Program and will progress to study a UNSW degree, you may be eligible for a one-year scholarship. To be eligible, students must be international students (not permanent residents of Australia); be completing a UNSW Foundation Studies program and have applied and received an offer for an eligible UNSW program.
Value: Up to A$10,000.

The UNSW Bachelor of Architectural Studies is a three-year degree when studied full time. Here, you will learn to design buildings and their surrounds to meet the needs of the people who use them. Taking sustainability, culture and the economy into consideration – you’ll participate in design studio sessions and lectures that cover a range of engaging topics and academic subjects. These include everything from architectural design to architectural communications, architectural history and theory, architectural science, the built environment and technologies, and architectural construction and structures.

Behavioural Economics (Major)
Behavioural economics is the subfield of economics that applies insights about human decision-making as it departs from classical economic models to individual choices and business and policy scenarios. Behavioural economists are employed in consultancies, governments, and corporations worldwide to understand, model, and predict choices in complex settings. The increasing real-world relevance of behavioural economics is exemplified in the creation of BETA (Behavioural Economics Team in Australia) teams at the Commonwealth and state levels in Australia and similar teams in governments overseas.
