Columbia College offers a wide range of business courses, including Accounting, Corporate Finance, Management Science, Marketing, Statistics, and Organizational Behavior. Students may take 24 – 47 credits (one year) or 48 – 60 plus credits (two years) of Business Program courses before transferring to a university Business or Commerce degree program at the second or third year level.
Columbia College University Transfer students intending to major in Business at the University of British Columbia (UBC) can transfer between 24 and 60 credits, making them eligible for either 2nd year (minimum 24 credits) or 3rd year (minimum 49 credits) studies at UBC’s Sauder School of Business.

The Associate of Science degree in Computer Science is a two year long diploma offered at Columbia College for undergraduate students. The diploma trains students in a variety of aspects of Software testing and Technology along with their implication on business and the overall designing process of test plans, write test cases, test applications and using functional as well as automated testing methods. An Associate Degree is equivalent to the first two years of a four-year university degree. After completing this degree, students can enter into the third year of a university’s Bachelor Degree program.
This program is even more significant because of the highly trained professional staff members who are available at all-times for the conceptual as well as practical problems students face during the course of the program. Columbia College offers a Bachelor of Science program in Mathematics which is a four year baccalaureate degree. Unlike the Bachelor of Arts degree, this course deals with the subject of mathematics with respect to science and the relationship between mathematics and science and how they are complimentary to one another. Columbia has a great faculty of expert mathematicians, state of the art services and excellent placement records which make this a very desirable course. Students have a number of career options after completing a degree in mathematics namely accountancy & finance, banking, actuarial career, statistician, careers in academia & research, engineering and many more.
Over the years a number of students have graduated in the field of mathematics from Columbia College and made great careers. The four year program helps students deal with the basic fundamentals of mathematics and gradually delves into the deeper aspects of the subject. The Associate of Science program is a 60 credit points program and once students complete their degree they can transfer these credits and seek admission in a full-fledged program under several great universities. Many universities prefer candidates with an Associate Degree and will accept students at a lower grade point average.
