Red River College Polytechnic (RRC Polytech) is Manitoba’s largest institute of applied learning and research, with more than 200 full- and part-time degree, diploma and certificate options. Through hands-on and online learning opportunities and state-of-the-art instruction, we prepare our students to become leaders in their fields — while also ensuring they can meet changing industry demands, and contribute to the province’s economic growth.
Red River College Polytechnic has eight campuses across Manitoba, including several located in rural communities. Our campuses include state-of-the-art equipment and facilities to ensure that our students are ready for the workforce after graduation.
Our aim is to steadily exceed the job market’s evolving requirements, which is why we employ committed staff and faculty who are dedicated to ensuring each student is armed with the knowledge, experience, and confidence to succeed in today’s multi-skilled workforce.
Throughout the academic year, Red River College assists students by administering awards, bursaries and scholarships that have been donated by concerned corporations, community organizations and individuals. These awards cover the specific requests of the donors and are intended to assist students who have shown outstanding abilities in academic or vocational areas and/or are in need of financial assistance.
Definition of Terms
In a college-approved work placement, students have the unique opportunity to use their abilities and engage in meaningful work outside of the classroom.
Students at RRC Polytech can participate in a variety of varsity sports, including volleyball, basketball, soccer, and futsal. On-campus fitness classes, massage therapy, personal fitness tests, and much more are available at the College.
RRC Polytech's Athletics and Recreation Services department provides recreational opportunities for its students, staff, and alumni that improve their physical, social, emotional, spiritual, environmental, intellectual, and occupational well-being.
A full-service library with study facilities and open computer access is available at Red River College Polytechnic. Books, magazines, reports, and government documents are among the library’s collections, with many more in digital format.
Red River College Polytechnic's student residence is located two blocks from the Roblin Centre, inside the Paterson Global Foods Institute in Winnipeg's historic Exchange District. The Residence offers fully equipped, modern, air-conditioned suites. There is also a shared kitchen, laundry rooms, and various common areas with Wi-Fi that may be used for study, entertainment, or socializing.
