At UNBC, students are provided with all of the necessary campus amenities. The campus is known for its innovative architecture and is home to the Health Sciences building, the Research laboratory building, the Weller Library, and a residence hall. It houses the Wood Innovation and Design Centre, which Michael Green Architect, a well-known architecture firm, designed. It acts as a resource for wood-related education and research. The campus was awarded the Campus Sustainability Leadership Award for being a green and clean campus in the city.
The campus library offers a large collection of periodicals, research papers, books, and magazines, which helps students to immerse well in the learning environment. UNBC is easily accessible by public transportation and has numerous cafes and eateries near the campus. Students can also find medical stores, stationery stores, and basic stores within walking distance of the campus.
The UNBC offers housing options at its two residential buildings, both located within a 5-minute walk of the campus's center. It has a combined housing capacity of over 500 people and houses fully furnished apartment suites, including kitchens, living areas, private bedrooms with beds and tables, and communal bathrooms. WiFi, laundry facilities on each floor, social rooms, and study halls are all available in each building.

Study the most fascinating subject of all – ourselves. Anthropology is the biological, social and cultural investigation of humans, in the past, present, and future.
This program includes courses in sociocultural, archaeological, biological, and linguistic anthropology. You can choose from a broad range of courses that reflect specific areas of interest. If your pursuit is sociocultural, you might select courses in First Nations studies, geography, history, and political science. If you are interested in archaeology, you might also take courses in biological and soil sciences, and environmental studies.
