New Zealand Institute of Business & Technology (NZIBT)

NZIBT believes in the personal transformational power of education, its role in creating a productive society, and its ability to make a difference in the quality of life. NZIBT serves international students, aged 18 years or older, who wish to complete business and/or technology-based qualifications at NZQF Level 7 – Level 8, which will pathway them into higher-level qualifications or work in New Zealand.

• NZIBT has agreements with both Lincoln University and the University of Waikato to ensure that successful graduates from NZIBT qualify for direct entry into Master's programs (12 months) including Master of Business and Management, Master of Business in Finance and Accounting, Master of Business in Global Management and Marketing.

HOMESTAY
Homestay means living with a family in their home. Living in a homestay provides students with an excellent opportunity to experience life with a New Zealand family and is the perfect way to help you improve your English and understand New Zealand culture under the roof of a safe environment.

FLATTING/SHARED ACCOMMODATION
Students often share with fellow students. They advertise online, and on noticeboards and in newspapers. Students may have to provide their own furniture which can often be bought cheaply second-hand. Prices vary from suburb to suburb, but generally, the city and central suburbs are more expensive than the outer suburbs. Usually, the price does not include food, bills or other expenses.

The college provides students with the opportunity to study in a campus that is situated within a business incubator and innovation hub, which enables them to connect with local entrepreneurs in New Zealand. Their aim is to offer a first-rate educational experience while also allowing students to get accustomed to the cultural, business, and academic disparities of New Zealand.

The campus environment is lively and dynamic, and have a dedicated team that arranges a variety of activities for students, including social gatherings, special events, and career workshops.
