About Pacific International Hotel Management School (PIHMS)

The Pacific International Hotel Management School (PIHMS) est. 1995, is a private tertiary education provider in New Plymouth, New Zealand.

PIHMS identified that Hotel and Tourism graduates in New Zealand were not graduating with the required skills, knowledge, and experience demanded by the industry. PIHMS was established to fulfill this gap, creating a model specializing in the education of future leaders in hotel business management, encompassing all aspects of the hotel industry worldwide.

With 25 years of experience, PIHMS understands what the Hotel and Tourism industry is looking for and provide our students with the skills to succeed. PIHMS provides a unique environment perfectly simulating the Hotel industry, reflected throughout its entire education process. Students are challenged and inspired, developing attitudes, skills and knowledge enabling a seamless transition into the workplace.

The PIHMS hotel campus provides an excellent opportunity for students to socialize and build lasting relationships with their peers. Pacific International Hotel Management School (PIHMS) Admission Requirements

The following requirements must be fulfilled to get admitted to Pacific International Hotel Management School

International students are considered on a case-by-case basis. There can be some additional requirements, depending on the program you are applying to.
Students are required to submit their original transcripts from their last attended academic institutions. If they are not in English, then submit the translated copies of the same along with the originals.
Applicants must be 18 years old at the time of the beginning of the course.
You need to submit your English language proficiency test scores if you are coming from a non-English speaking country.

Please note: If you are not a New Zealand citizen or a permanent resident of New Zealand, you must obtain a valid study permit before you come to New Zealand.
