QRC Lodge

QRC Lodge is home to Diploma students in their first two terms.
Striking the right balance between living and learning, QRC Lodge is a short 20min walk or 5 min drive from QRC House and the heart of Queenstown.
Facilities include games room, tennis court, TV room, dedicated study areas and fully equipped student kitchen.
Lodge rooms are twin share and include an ensuite bathroom. A limited number of single rooms are available.

Our Lodge Managers are on-site to assist students and provide help or guidance when needed. They also host awesome student events including dorm competitions, weekly activities and themed lodge parties.

Our in-house chef serves up home-style dinners for all students Sunday – Thursday nights. Breakfast is also provided 7 days a week to ensure you start the day out right. Meals are served as a buffet and the Lodge can cater for an array of dietary requirements.

Queenstown offers a plethora of exciting activities, including skiing, hiking, jet boating, and bungee jumping, just to name a few. With so much to explore, boredom is never an option. Additionally, the region is a haven for food enthusiasts, with an abundance of exceptional restaurants, bars, and vineyards that are among the best in the country.

The campus has multiple amenities for the convenience of the students. These include a range of classrooms, a student cafe, a demonstration kitchen, a computer suite, a library, a boardroom, and Wi-Fi connectivity.

As the iconic Adventure Tourism industry expands globally, so does the need for skilled and qualified managers. QRC’s Diploma in Adventure Tourism Management focuses on the operational and risk elements of running a successful and safe activity.

The key area of learning is focused on what is required to manage a business whose products provide thrills for those participating in an experiential activity. The industry exposure provided to students is unique given the location of Queenstown and the volume of activities in the region.

QRC creates ambassadors and skilled workforce capability for this growth sector by being the only provider of Adventure Tourism Management in the southern hemisphere.

The Diploma focuses on ensuring students are competent with service quality, operational intelligence, professionalism, cultural intelligence, visitor experience, product & business development, event planning, risk management and sustainability.

Queenstown Resort College (QRC) Queenstown Campus Admission Requirements

The following requirements must be fulfilled to get admitted to Queenstown Resort College (QRC)

International students are considered on a case-by-case basis. There can be some additional requirements, depending on the program you are applying to.
Students are required to submit their original transcripts from their last attended academic institutions. If they are not in English, then submit the translated copies of the same along with the originals.
Applicants must be 18 years old at the time of the beginning of the course.
You need to submit your English language proficiency test scores if you are coming from a non-English speaking country.

Please note: If you are not a New Zealand citizen or a permanent resident of New Zealand, you must obtain a valid study permit before you come to New Zealand.
