Anwar Gargash Diplomatic Academy

The Anwar Gargash Diplomatic Academy (AGDA) was established in 2014 to fulfill the UAE Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation's (MoFAIC) mission. It serves as a crucial component of the ministry's endeavors to train and prepare current and prospective diplomats and government officials to represent the UAE on a global level.

The Academy offers a distinctive educational opportunity as a hub of expertise, where students can access region-specific courses, engage with prominent diplomats and learn from thought leaders. By providing world-class education, the Academy equips students with the necessary skills to navigate the constantly evolving field of foreign policy. It brings global knowledge, expertise and experience to the UAE to prepare its students for the diverse challenges they may face.

The Academy aims to be the top center for foreign policy, executive education, and research in the Middle East. Presently, our alumni possess the necessary expertise and understanding to represent the UAE internationally at the most senior level and are prepared to take on leadership roles that advance the country's foreign policy goals.

The program includes Post-Graduate Diploma (PGD) in UAE Diplomacy and International Relations, Master of Arts in Global Affairs and Diplomatic Leadership Programme, Master of Arts in Humanitarian Action & Development Programme, executive training, etc.

AGDA students are provided with a variety of services such as counseling, dining halls, health facilities, IT assistance, prayer rooms, and a student lounge. However, certain services may have limitations or may be provided virtually due to unavoidable situations.

Moham Anwar Gargash Diplomatic Academy does not provide on campus housing but students can look for housing near the college campus. Moreover, there are several hotels, apartments, and hostels located near the school campus, which students can easily access

Anwar Gargash Diplomatic Academy (AGDA), provides scholarships to exceptional Emirati students who wish to study academic programs and executive training related to diplomacy and international relations. These students will have a variety of responsibilities, such as managing research programs, conducting research, teaching, contributing to strategic planning, and participating in AGDA’s broader operations and activities. AGDA encourages applicants who possess relevant experience, teaching skills, and exceptional communication skills. Moreover, AGDA also offers scholarships to more than 133 universities worldwide.
