The Higher Colleges of Technology has multiple campuses nationwide, with separate facilities for male and female students. These campuses, located in Abu Dhabi, Al Ain, Dubai, Fujairah, Madinat Zayed, Ras Al Khaimah, Ruwais, and Sharjah, offer a wide variety of academic programs tailored to meet the needs of the UAE's workforce. These programs are offered in modern, technologically advanced campuses with well-equipped libraries. The libraries are among the most extensive and best equipped in the Gulf region, offering a wide range of collections and services, including books, e-books, scholarly and popular journals, and multimedia materials.

HTC offers its students a wide range of amenities on-campus, including state-of-the-art studios, workshops, laboratories, and learning centres with the latest tools and equipment. Additionally, each college within the institution features a cafeteria where students can have their meals and snacks throughout the day. Furthermore, HTC provides sports and health & wellness facilities to its students.

Higher Colleges of Technology offers students various chances to receive awards, prizes, and scholarships. Organizations offer awards and scholarships to students who have demonstrated exceptional academic performance and meet the specific application requirements. 

The HCT acknowledges the exceptional achievements of students by providing various types of awards and scholarships. These include a 

• 20% scholarship for newly admitted students with a high school average of 95% or above.
• 20% scholarship for continuing students with a cumulative GPA between 3.0 and 3.74.
• 40% scholarship for continuing students with a cumulative GPA of 3.75 or higher and are considered Distinguished Honors.

Established in 1988 by Sheikh Nahyan bin Mubarak al-Nahyan, the Higher Colleges of Technology (HCT) is a public institute of technology with multiple campuses and facilities throughout the United Arab Emirates. Over 67,000 Emirati nationals have graduated from the HCT, which has formed official partnerships with several international educational and training institutions and local and multinational companies. The Bachelor of Education degree offered by the HCT has received international certification from the University of Melbourne.
