Students at Sorbonne Abu Dhabi can lease fully furnished residences conveniently situated on our campus, in close proximity to classrooms and study areas. These residences are equipped with air-conditioning and can accommodate up to 500 students. To uphold the customs and regulations of the United Arab Emirates, the residences are divided into separate buildings for men and women.

Sorbonne Abu Dhabi provides scholarships to undergraduate and postgraduate students who demonstrate academic merit or have unique personal situations. 
 

• HH Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan Scholarship for Emirati students: The Bachelor Programmes will fully cover all tuition and study-related fees.
• Academic Excellence Scholarships: To qualify for the scholarship scheme, a minimum average grade of 12/20 is required, and the percentage of the scholarship increases progressively from 25% to 75%.

• French Curriculum Schools Scholarship: Those students who possess a French baccalaureate from any of the GCC countries are qualified for a reduction of 10% on their initial semester fees.

In 2006, the Government of Abu Dhabi and the Sorbonne University in Paris reached an agreement to establish the University. Sorbonne Abu Dhabi established its permanent campus on Al Reem Island in Abu Dhabi in December 2009, covering an area of over 93,000 m2. The campus has various amenities, including a library, a 700-seat auditorium, a sports center, and a cafeteria. The university aims to support Abu Dhabi's vision of becoming a cultural and scientific hub and to reach out to students worldwide.

Except the Master in Teaching French as a Foreign Language, which is taught in French, all master's degrees offered are taught in English. These programs are available to graduates who have completed an undergraduate degree program. A strong grasp of English is necessary for postgraduate program admission.
