Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland Dubai

The team responsible for RCSI Registry Services provides assistance and advice on various academic issues to both students and staff. Additionally, RCSI has 35 clubs and sports teams that are inclusive to all students, accepting new members regularly, and offering various opportunities for physical activity regardless of skill level.

The Royal College of Surgeons Ireland offers several options for students to choose their accommodation while studying. The facilities available include round-the-clock security, a well-equipped kitchen, and laundry facilities.

RCSI provides numerous scholarships to students based on their performance in the university, allowing them to receive full benefits. These scholarships are open to those pursuing undergraduate, postgraduate, medicine, pharmacy, and physiotherapy programs. 

The scholarships available are Aim High Medicine Scholarship, Consilio Manuque Medicine Scholarship, 1916 Bursary Fund, Kiran Pathak Pharmacy Scholarship, and International Pharmacy Scholarship.

Established in 2005, the Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland-Dubai was originally situated in Knowledge Village before being relocated to the esteemed Mohammed Bin Rashid Academic Medical Center in Dubai Healthcare City in 2007. One of the schools under the Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland is the RCSI-Dubai Institute of Leadership, which also operates in the college's campuses in Ireland and Bahrain. RCSI-Dubai provides postgraduate education, training, and consultancy services in leadership, management, patient safety, and quality, with Master's programs that are accredited and tailored to healthcare professionals who are currently employed. The Institute also offers customized training programs and continuing professional development to promote efficient healthcare organizations.

In 1784, the Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland received a Charter that granted them the authority to regulate surgery and provide surgical education. Prior to this, surgeons were classified with barbers and the Barbers Surgeons Guild. The founders initially had no physical location, so they held their earliest meetings in the boardroom of Dublin's Rotunda Hospital. They later acquired a vacant hall on Mercer Street beside Mercer's Hospital. Over the past 220 years, the RCSI has become renowned worldwide for providing exceptional undergraduate and postgraduate education in healthcare professions. The programs are accredited by the National University of Ireland and by the Commission for Academic Accreditation (CAA) on behalf of the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research in the UAE, ensuring their quality.

RCSI-Dubai is situated in the renowned Mohammed Bin Rashid Academic Medical Center in Dubai Healthcare City since 2005. The institution now presents MSc courses in Healthcare Management and Quality & Safety in Healthcare Management, which have gained immense popularity in the UAE and neighboring areas. Other courses include Clinical Leadership, Leadership and Innovation in Healthcare, Leading Digital Health Transformation, Short courses and  micro-credentials like AI & Medical Imaging, Internet of Health Things, Finance for Healthcare, Entrepreneurship and Innovation in Healthcare and Science, Design Thinking for Entrepreneurs in Healthcare and Science, etc. Numerous healthcare experts travel a great distance to take part in these programs.
