Zayed University Overview

Zayed University, UAE provides a wide range of academic programs, including 17 bachelor's degrees, 10 master's degrees, and 8 minors. Additionally, there is the College of Humanities and Social Sciences. At the graduate level, Zayed University offers master's degrees, executive master's degrees, and graduate certificates. It holds the distinction of being the first and only higher education institution in the UAE to offer degrees in Arts and Design. The tuition fee ramnges between AED 2,000- AED 5,000 per credit. Zayed University, UAE has two campuses situated in Dubai and Abu Dhabi. The Madinat Zayed campus boasts modern amenities such as classrooms, meeting rooms, auditoriums that can accommodate up to 1,000 students, a five-story library, retail areas, fitness centers, and a half-size Olympic pool. Meanwhile, the Academic City campus is composed of six buildings specifically designed for Administration, Convention, Dining, Library, Academics, and Gymnasium.

Zayed University Accomodation

Zayed University offers convenient accommodation for international students near the academic buildings on the Abu Dhabi campus, while on-campus housing is not available for domestic students. Gender-segregated residences provide single and double occupancy rooms, with amenities such as dining halls, laundry rooms, gyms, mosques, TVs, study rooms, Wi-Fi, and recreational areas. Each room comes equipped with a bed, mattress, desk, lamp, chair, wardrobe, and data port. Additionally, resident students can opt for part-time work opportunities within the university to earn extra income.

Zayed University Scholarships

Zayed University offers scholarships to all international students who fullfill the admission criteria. Undergraduate students can apply for Undergraduate Merit Scholarships that cover up to 50% of tuition fees. These scholarships have certain minimum requirements such as a minimum GPA of 3.5 on 4.0 or a minimum IELTS score of 6.0 or TOEFL-iBT score of 80. Graduate students are eligible for various types of UAE Universities scholarships, including merit scholarships, alumni scholarships, and graduate teaching, research, and administrative assistantships.

About Zayed University

Zayed University, named after the UAE's founding President, was established in 1998 and is supported by the government. The university has two campuses in Dubai and Abu Dhabi, and the Abu Dhabi campus started functioning in 2011. The university currently has almost 6,000 students, with around 70% of them being female and 30% male. The Dubai campus has around 4,000 students. The university enrolls over 10,000 students annually, including international students from various regions of the world.

Zayed University provides a range of educational opportunities with approximately 35 undergraduate majors and minors as well as graduate degrees through six different colleges: the College of Business, College of Art and Creative Enterprises, College of Education, College of Communication and Media Sciences, College of Technological Innovation, and College of Natural and Health Sciences.

The university is recognized internationally for its accreditation by the Middle States Commission on Higher Education, which allows students to study abroad. Zayed University,UAE accepts applications for admission during the Fall, Spring, and Summer seasons, with the admissions process being conducted internally.
