Founded in 1791, the Royal Veterinary College (RVC), University of London, is at the forefront of teaching, research and practice in biological sciences and veterinary medicine, and has been behind some important advances in the history of disease control, evolution, and human and animal welfare and medicine.
Royal Veterinary College, University of London
The Royal Veterinary College is the largest and longest-established vet school in the English-speaking world and is a college of the University of London.
The College offers undergraduate and postgraduate programmes in veterinary medicine, veterinary nursing, and biological sciences; and CPD programmes in veterinary medicine and veterinary nursing.
RVC produces world-class research and provides support for the veterinary profession through its referral hospitals, including the Queen Mother Hospital for Animals, Europe's largest small animal hospital.
As one of the world's leading specialist veterinary and biological science research institutions, the RVC brings together talented individuals; all of whom share a passion for human and animal health and welfare.
Veterinary medicine courses are
accredited
by AVMA, EAEVE, RCVS and AVBC, veterinary nursing courses are accredited by ACOVENE and RCVS, and biological sciences courses are accredited by the Royal Society of Biology.
The College provides support for veterinary and related professions through our three referral hospitals, including the
Queen Mother Hospital for Animals
, Europe's largest small animal referral hospital.
Our programmes are of international appeal and attract students who go on to become practicing veterinarians, research scientists, veterinary nurses and leaders in industry and government.
The College owns and manages the London BioScience Innovation Centre ; which was London's first centre for early stage life science companies. This puts the College at the heart of biotechnology and other biomedical research in London and opens doors for research collaboration.

Piccadilly Court is high quality student accommodation located close to Kings Cross and our ONCAMPUS London Centre.
This accommodation offers secure, modern, fully furnished, en suite rooms. The bedrooms are arranged in clusters of 6 bedrooms. Each cluster shares a fully fitted kitchen and living area.
The residence is in an excellent location, a minutes walk to Caledonian road tube station, and a 5-minute tube journey to Russell Square. It is an 7-minute walk from Russell Square to ONCAMPUS London - 13-minutes door-to-door.
The accommodation is one stop to King’s Cross St Pancras and three stops to Central London (Holborn).
Emily Bowes Court
Emily Bowes Court is located just two minutes from Tottenham Hale underground and overground stations, and less than 15 minutes’ commute to central London. With it conveniently located on the Victoria underground line, you can commute to ONCAMPUS in less than 30 minutes.
This accommodation offers ensuite rooms in shared flats with shared kitchens and your own bathroom
St Pancras Way
St Pancras Way is right at the heart of Camden, close to the Royal Veterinary College and many other central London universities. The property also has fantastic transport links with King's Cross St Pancras Station just a ten-minute walk away, so you can make the most of student living in London. Students can get to ONCAMPUS London in 18 minutes by a bus or 20 minutes via the tube.
Kentish Town (over 18s only)
The residence is located just a short distance from Camden Town, a vibrant location offering a wide range of restaurants, cafes and local markets. Camden Market is London’s fourth-most popular visitor attraction, where vendors sell crafts, clothing, music and street food from their stalls.
The accommodation is extremely modern and furnished to a high quality. All the rooms are studios so you will have your own private bathroom and a kitchenette to cook.
Just a short walk away is Kentish Town Station, meaning you can commute to ONCAMPUS in 21 minutes via the Northern Line Underground.
Included in your booking is a bedding and kitchen pack, so everything you need will be there on arrival.
Royal Veterinary College, University of London Accommodation
Situated in the heart of London, the historical Camden campus provides a nurturing environment for veterinary medicine and Biosciences students. The Anatomy Museum, located on this bustling campus, boasts an impressive collection of veterinary history and animal anatomy. The First Opinion Animal Hospital also found on the premises, offers a comprehensive range of services for pets, including specialized care for exotic animals.
The London Bioscience and Innovation Centre, conveniently situated within the Camden Campus, is home to 40 biotechnology and life sciences companies. These range from small start-ups to global firms, fostering a vibrant atmosphere of innovation and collaboration.
For students seeking a quiet place to work or relax, the Lightwell café is the perfect spot. This open café not only serves delicious coffee, but also provides access to serene private areas, a gym, and other amenities.
In addition to these enticing features, the campus offers a variety of other facilities to enhance the learning experience. These include a Learning Resource Centre, a dissection room, group study rooms, learning rooms, a library, and lecture theatres.
