Accommodation

Feeling at home is just as important as your degree. So, from offering modern, well-equipped student accommodation designed to fit a range of tastes and budgets, to giving you the support you need to find private sector housing

Halls of residence
Live on-campus, near the beach, or in town. Choose from shared and studio flats, accessible rooms, and catered packages. The majority of our rooms are ensuite. Feel extra safe with secure access, CCTV and 24/7 support at many of our sites. Each room is furnished and all have wifi. If you’re a first-year student, you’ll have a guaranteed place in our accommodation, as long as you get your application in on time.

Private accommodation
If we're not able to accommodate you in one of our own residences, we'll be happy to advise on accommodation locally. There are also accommodation fairs and online accommodation databases to help.

Scholarships for International Students

International Talent Awards

A limited number of £5,000 scholarships called International Talent Awards will be available.
These scholarships will be able to be paid towards tuition fees in Year 1.

GREAT Scholarship

Eligible students will be from India and China and enrolling in a one-year master's programme at Falmouth during the 2022-23 academic year.GREAT Scholarships are funded by the British Council and the UK government's GREAT Britain Campaign, in partnership with UK higher education institutions.

Commonwealth Shared Scholarship

Commonwealth Shared Scholarships are for candidates from least developed and lower middle income Commonwealth countries, for full-time master's study on selected courses, jointly supported by UK universities.

Through this industry-focused graphic design degree, you’ll learn to be an adept visual communicator, developing core skills in typography, branding, visual language, craft and critical thinking. Bachelor of Art (Hons) in Illustration

You’ll maximise your employability in the visual communications industry by learning about marketing, copyright, tax and more. Our academic team has experience in every aspect of the sector, creating a diverse learning environment with multiple specialisms available, preparing you for the constantly evolving needs of the creative industries.

You will:

Create your own online marketing campaign; building a portfolio website, setting up a professional Instagram account and creating your LinkedIn profile.
Have the opportunity in your final year to showcase your work in our professional online magazine, Wunderkammer, circulated to art directors, editors and designers all over the world.
Have the opportunity to meet clients and win commissions for live briefs.
Have the chance to develop your professional practice with work placements and internships.
Have the opportunity to go on study trips to places like Bristol, London, Bologna and New York, gain industry portfolio feedback, attend conferences, visit agencies, publishers and design companies. In the third year, you can exhibit your own work in London.
