Florida National University was founded in 1988 and held its first class the same year. Florida National University is a prestigious university located in Miami, one of the world's most visited cities. Business, computer, dentistry, medical, paralegal, and travel programmes were all available when the university first opened its doors.

The Hialeah Campus is located in Hialeah, Florida, in the northwest corner of Miami-Dade County. There are two buildings on the main campus: the main building and the Dr. José Regueiro Building. A covered outdoor plaza connects the two buildings. The main structure has a welcome area, restaurant, childcare facility, administrative offices, human resources, computer labs, classrooms, and many labs for medical programmes.

Admission to Florida National University - Hialeah Campus is dependent on meeting certain criteria, which vary depending on the program to which a student applies.
