 Massachusetts College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences (MCPHS) University was founded by fourteen young pharmacists in 1823. It is a private university that has been educating future healthcare leaders and is located in the Longwood Medical and Academic Area of Boston. It offers various programs focused on professional education in health sciences and in pharmacy. Over the years the university has expanded and opened two campuses, located in Manchester, New Hampshire and Worcester, Massachusetts. University has close linkages with esteemed medical and research institutions spread all across the globe that provides students with efficient clinical and non-clinical experiences.

Some of the notable alumni of the university are Robert Goforth (an American politician from the state of Kentucky), Catherine Elizabeth Ulbricht (a co-founder of the Natural Standard Research Collaboration, Ronald) and A. Matricaria (a businessperson who has been the head of 8 different companies and currently is Chairman at Systems Oncology LLC).
