The backdrop for learning is TU’s beautiful 329-acre suburban campus, located eight miles north of Baltimore and less than an hour’s drive from Washington, D.C. Throughout the region, Towson University’s strong partnerships with public and private organizations provide unique opportunities for research, internships and jobs. The Towson Learning Network extends beyond its main campus to off-campus locations throughout the state. Transfer students can complete their degrees at TU in Northeastern Maryland.
Towson University is the second-largest university in the prestigious University System of Maryland, the 12th-largest public university system in the United States. TU is also a founding member of the Coalition of Urban and Metropolitan Universities and offers employment opportunities at all levels.
University Housing
Due to decreasing density there will be more than 4,100 students living on campus at Towson University. There will be 17 residence halls open, ranging from two- and three-story halls and high-rise towers, and apartment communities for upperclassmen. There will only be two students sharing a bathroom in all residential units. The Department of Housing & Residence Life oversees daily activities in residential learning communities, residential engagement and student development.

What’s on the menu tonight? Sushi? Pizza? Fajitas? Try all of the above. With 16 dining options on campus, you’ll never have trouble finding something that suits your taste. In fact, you might have trouble finding something that doesn’t.
Towson offers three all-you-care-to-eat facilities at The Glen, Newell Dining Hall and West Village Commons. Our diverse menus offer traditional choices, ethnic and international cuisine, and a wealth of vegetarian and low-fat options, too. We also offer kosher and halal menus.
When you just need a quick break, consider a coffee at our on-campus Starbucks, where the conversation flows as freely as the caffeine. Want to grab a bite before that mid-term or after a trip to the gym? Stop by Chick-fil-A or Einstein Bros. Bagels. — both located right on campus. Or stock up on a few snacks at one of our convenience stores. Go ahead and eat up — it’s all included in the Towson meal plan.

Bachelor of Science in Business Systems and Processes
The Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Business Systems and Processes requires a minimum of 120 earned units, which must include successful completion of the university Core Curriculum requirements, the Business Systems and Processes requirements and electives.
Students are responsible for monitoring their own progress toward graduation. Students must consult with their assigned advisers each term to ensure that prerequisite courses are taken in proper sequence to meet the student’s target completion date for the degree. Prerequisites are monitored during registration. Please note that not all Business Systems and Processes courses are offered every term. Students need to create a plan in conjunction with their advisors based on the planned course offerings.
Students may additionally earn an industry certification, SAP Student Recognition Award, as part of completing selected courses in the program.
International students may benefit from the program's STEM designation, which supports an optional practical training (OPT) extension of two years.
