Susquehanna University is a private university located in the Susquehanna River Valley in Selinsgrove, Pennsylvania. We began as The Missionary Institute of the Evangelical Lutheran Church on September 1, 1858, and became Susquehanna University in 1895.

Living on Campus
Living and learning happens day and night — much of it in and around our residential housing communities.
Check out the types of housing available to different class years below. Whether in traditional residence halls, suites, townhouses or on-campus apartments, you’ll find it easy to make yourself at home. All halls have Wifi and cable in the lounges and are within walking distance of our academic buildings.
We are a four-year residential campus. You’ll live on campus all four years — moving to independent living in on-campus suites and apartments during your final two years.
Susquehanna University offers many opportunities for students to get involved on campus. With over 150 student clubs and organizations, ranging from academic interest groups to Greek Life, there is something for everyone. The university also sponsors music and dance ensembles that count towards academic credit. Students can also enjoy the on-campus TRAX nightclub, which features live performances, an outdoor patio, a dance floor, pool tables, a bar, and a DJ booth. Overall, Susquehanna University provides a vibrant and diverse student life experience.

The graphic design program at Susquehanna is focused, close-knit, challenging, intense and ultimately very rewarding. Our work is a fixture in regional and national student design competitions, and our best graduates ascend to art director and creative director positions with astonishing regularity. Our graduates don’t just make pretty pictures, they are sophisticated critical thinkers and problem solvers, and they have the skills required to win jobs at the best design and advertising agencies in the country. This is the ‘Real World’ of graphic design: our students tackle the same sorts of problems and projects faced every day by design professionals at the top end of the business.
