Designed for students who wish to study via a two-semester model, this three-year program means you will study during the January and September semesters of each year only and will complete the degree over three years rather than the usual two. The Bachelor of Commerce (3 Year) develops financial literacy, business analytic and decision-making skills, leadership, and management skills through experiential learning and authentic assessment tasks relevant to the choice of major. This cutting edge program has been designed in strong collaboration with industry to assist construction and other built environment professionals to upskill in order to comply with the stringent practice requirements being demanded by government and knowledgeable private sector clients regarding the use of Building Information Modelling (BIM), Lean Construction Practice (Lean) and Integrated Project delivery (IPD) in optimised construction project delivery.

The Master of Building Information Modelling and Integrated Project Delivery program prepares students for advanced involvement as relevant BIM/Lean/IPD Managers in their work environment, for the benefit of projects and their stakeholders.

The program is delivered in intensive mode and has the objective of preparing industry professionals to serve as BIM/Lean/IPD managers. While the course does cover various BIM-related technologies, it does not prepare students to be specialist technicians in the niche areas of the technologies covered by the curriculum. The program includes a capstone subject (40 credit points) in which students work on a realistic BIM/Lean/IPD project that requires application, analysis and synthesis of complex ‘project’ data. Limited placement opportunites may be available based on required performance criteria.
