The Bond University Bachelor of Exercise and Sports Performance equip you with comprehensive knowledge and applied skills in health, fitness, and sports performance. You will gain a comprehensive understanding of the basic and applied sciences as they apply to personal and community health and fitness, and sports performance at all levels. Focusing on real-world learning, this program is delivered by award-winning teaching staff through significant practical experience and authentic assessment to maximize employment outcomes for graduates. This program is primarily delivered at the Bond Institute of Health and Sport where you will gain high-quality and practical learning experiences through our National Strength and Conditioning Association-accredited High-Performance Training Centre. These facilities provide sports science testing, training, and recovery services to state, national and international athletes and teams. You will also gain industry accreditations in Strength and Conditioning as well as Sports First Aid. The program prepares graduates for exciting career opportunities in exercise and sports performance including strength and conditioning as well as providing an accelerated undergraduate pathway to graduate-entry studies including physiotherapy, occupational therapy, nutrition, and dietetic practice, and high-performance sports science.

The Bachelor of Criminal Justice and Criminology equips you with the practical and analytical skills needed in this rapidly changing world. Given shifting perceptions of crimes and harms and social inequities, this program interrogates profiles, patterns and trends, public and media influence on policy in how states respond, and situates crime events involving offenders, victims, and communities within cultural and historical contexts. It provides you with the knowledge and industry-facing practice that will help lead cultural and systemic change across a wide range of justice-oriented organisations.

The program encompasses theoretical and practical aspects of current and anticipated opportunities in the criminal justice workforce to gain a competitive advantage in employability outcomes. Subjects include criminal justice, cybercrime, criminal law, explanations for crime, miscarriages of justice and crime prevention.  You will be prepared with industry-relevant capacity for career options in justice-related positions across private, government, not-for-profit agencies aligned with professional roles in support, policy and research sectors.

The Bachelor of Project Management concerns projectised decision-making applicable to a wide range of different industry sectors. It builds on three foundation semesters comprising business acumen, project framework, process analysis and core skill development before three further practice semesters comprising technical, tactical and strategic decision-making. The program includes comprehensive coverage of project schedule, cost, resource, scope, quality, procurement, communications, risk and stakeholder management, two elective choices and concludes with a capstone subject on project integration management. There is an organisational change focus in the curriculum’s design. The program’s curriculum is purposely built around the PMBOK® Guide, which is the international standard for the project management discipline.

The Master of Criminology (Professional) program provides you with skill development and training as well as scholarly appreciation of crime, justice and forensic issues. The program provides an understanding of a broad range of issues involving criminology theories, contemporary information on crime prevention, the theory and practice of punishment, criminal offenders, the police, courts and correctional institutions, including current crime and deviance issues. You will be provided with both knowledge and research skills and techniques required for the analysis of criminological issues and an understanding of how to critically evaluate published research. At the end of the program, you will undertake a professional portfolio involving your  research and practical expertise in your chosen vocational area.  Eligibility criteria applies to the professional placement option.  The program duration is 4 semesters and 20 weeks (92 weeks).

The Master of Architecture/Master of Project Management provides an authentic blending of creative practice professional study with contemporary project management. The Master of Architecture subjects are delivered seamlessly with the standard architecture program.  The Master of Architecture is a creative studio-based program focusing heavily upon design through hands-on and digital making with state-of-the-art tools. Project-based design studios focus upon real-world scenarios with specific attention to urbanism, the future of global cities, and the role of architecture and the architect in addressing urban, environmental, social, and technological change. Graduates will display mastery of architectural design abilities that are creative, critical, analytical, and spatial and based in advanced historical, theoretical, technical and disciplinary knowledge. All graduates will complete a design thesis as the cumulative result of the Masters course that demonstrates independent, self-directed critical thinking and sophisticated design capability.  For full-time students, the majority of the Master of Architecture coursework shall be completed before embarking upon the Master of Project Management portion of the degree.  Through the program offerings at the Abedian School of Architecture, issues of pressing international and national concern form the core content of the studio curriculum. Among the most prominent of these are the challenges posed by our contemporary condition globally, one characterised by rapid urbanisation, environmental change, technological emergence, and increasing socioeconomic inequity. The Master of Architecture will prepare students for globally-relevant employment through development of a sophisticated set of disciplinary competencies and acquired knowledge, providing the ability to synthesise diverse information in the resolution of complex creative-design challenges using a globally-applicable skillset that is deployed locally.     Established as a highly-flexible and student-focused degree program, students in the Master of Architecture/Master of Project Management will study for 6 semesters full time but eligible domestic students may also choose to study part-time. Studies include content from the disciplines of architecture, digital media, construction, city planning, urban design, project management and university electives.
