Designed for students who wish to study via a two-semester model, this three-year program means you will study during the January and September semesters of each year only and will complete the degree over three years rather than the usual two. The Bachelor of Commerce (3 Year) develops financial literacy, business analytic and decision-making skills, leadership, and management skills through experiential learning and authentic assessment tasks relevant to the choice of major. The program equips students to think creatively and critically, problem-solve, communicate professionally, work collaboratively, make ethical and responsible business decisions, and work effectively in a global business context characterised by change and uncertainty. Depending on the major selected, students are prepared for a professional career in Accounting, Actuarial Science, Economics or Finance fields. By undertaking a specified set of subjects according to their chosen discipline, Bachelor of Commerce (3 Year) students graduating with an Accounting, Actuarial Science or Finance major are eligible to pursue professional qualifications offered by their field’s governing bodies. Students are also encouraged to complete a second major or minor to diversify their skills and enhance their employability.

The Bachelor of Commerce program is an innovative program designed for students interested in the financial side of the business. The Bachelor of Laws prepares students for a career as a legal professional, both within Australia and overseas. The Bachelor of Business Data Analytics is taught via smaller classes for personalised attention and unparalleled access to facilities like the Bond University Business School’s Big Data Centre. The Bond MBA is a generalist management program of 12 subjects. The Master of Accounting (MAcc) program is a specialist program for people interested in pursuing a professional accounting qualification. This course incorporates the traditional Master of Accounting program and is designed to provide an opportunity for students with undergraduate training in other fields to gain a professional accounting qualification. The course covers introductory as well as advanced units in financial and management accounting, economics, finance, tax and business law, security appraisal and valuation and auditing. The MAcc offers a firm academic grounding in the accounting discipline and offers a hands-on appreciation of the accounting industry. The program is a powerful amalgam of foundational accounting skills, decision-making, leadership and financial literacy. The course is designed to help develop a student's ability to advise businesses on financial issues. The classes combine theoretical knowledge in accounting with practical insights delivered through case studies, guest lectures and work integrated learning. The Master of Architecture (Professional) provides a tailored architectural education in a creative studio-based environment focusing heavily upon design through hands-on and digital making with state-of-the-art tools. Project-based design studios focus upon real-world scenarios with specific attention to urbanism, the future of global cities, and the role of architecture and the architect in addressing urban, environmental, social, and technological change. Graduates will display mastery of architectural design abilities that are creative, critical, analytical, and spatial and based in advanced historical, theoretical, technical and disciplinary knowledge. All graduates will complete a design thesis as the cumulative result of the Masters course that demonstrates independent, self-directed critical thinking and sophisticated design capability. After completing the thesis, this program incorporates a 12-week professional portfolio subject providing students with an opportunity to undertake either an internship (eligibility criteria applies) or professional research project, which results in graduating with highly relevant work-preparation. Through the program offerings at the Abedian School of Architecture, issues of pressing international and national concern form the core content of the studio curriculum. Among the most prominent of these are the challenges posed by our contemporary condition globally, one characterised by rapid urbanisation, environmental change, technological emergence, and increasing socioeconomic inequity. The Master of Architecture (Professional) will prepare students for globally-relevant employment through development of a sophisticated set of disciplinary competencies and acquired knowledge, providing the ability to synthesise diverse information in the resolution of complex creative-design challenges using a globally-applicable skillset that is deployed locally.     Students in the Master of Architecture (Professional) will study for 6 semesters full time. Studies include content from the disciplines of architecture, digital media, construction, city planning, urban design, and university electives. Key highlights of the program include an annual all-school “charrette”, several off-campus study tours (including a paid international studio trip for eligible* students), a monthly international guest-lecture series, study with distinguished guest faculty and Architects-In-Residence, a bi-annual student exhibition and publication, and an internationally and nationally recognized academic staff of scholars and practitioner-teachers.  Students undertake the Master of Architecture (Professional) in a unique setting: the national and international award-winning Abedian School of Architecture.
