The Bachelor of Creative Arts is an innovative program that tailors its offerings to students’ unique ambitions and interests. The personalised nature of the program empowers students to identify their own ambitions, then equips them with the skills, theory and practice to navigate existing pathways—or design their own. Creative Arts students undertake three majors. All students begin with creative writing subjects to develop a range of foundation skills in creative thinking and narrative. Students also select a specialist creative major (Advertising; Communication & Society; Corporate Storytelling; Digital Media; Film & Television; Journalism; Media Studies; Public Relations or Social Media). Within their creative specialisation, students learn through a hands-on, project-based approach to learning, where they are encouraged to develop industry relationships, undertake creative internships and practice and publish within their chosen creative niches. Finally, the flexible program enables students to ground their creative endeavours within a third major. A creative entrepreneur may pursue a business major, an aspiring thriller writer might study criminology or a documentary filmmaker might study international relations to better understand working in a non–profit organisation. In the final stages of their degree, students will have the opportunity to develop a substantial creative project, which will knit what they have learned across their three selected content areas together into a major portfolio piece showcasing their skills and talents.

The Master Degree explores a number of topic areas centered around emerging job descriptions for project managers, drawn from product manager, designer thinker, change agent, Agile coach, business analyst and entrepreneur. The program comprises six core, research methods, research project (double-weighted) and three elective subjects.

The Master of Construction Practice covers a comprehensive range of subjects in the field of construction practice, focusing on the management and delivery of complex construction projects. The curriculum addresses a range of topics including building structures and soil mechanics, construction technology, construction techniques, plant and equipment, contract administration, building measurement, finance and cost planning, project management, refurbishment and retrofitting and risks. The program is accredited by the Australian Institute of Quantity Surveyors (AIQS), the Chartered Institute of Building (CIOB) and the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS). The program also meets the educational requirements of the Queensland Building and Construction Commission (QBCC) for attainment of an Open Builders License.

The Bachelor of Global Studies (Sustainability) is a unique interdisciplinary degree that will equip you with the capacity to formulate solutions to the challenges of globalisation and the development of sustainable communities. The structure of the program follows world megatrends, reflected in the interconnectivity and interplay within diverse fields of study: climate change, sustainable development, global health and disease, international institutions and transnational business. The program also aims to prepare you for fronting increased human security threats through sustained transnational collaboration. The global dialogue needed for the security of globalised communities requires competencies in International Relations, diplomacy and intercultural partnership. The Bachelor of Global Studies (Sustainability) develops you to be an active global citizen with the knowledge and skills to enable you to contribute to the development of sustainable societies of the future. Depending on your interests and needs, you will choose a major to further develop the knowledge gained throughout the program's compulsory subjects and specialise in a field of choice:  Australian Studies, Digital Media, Language and Culture (French, Spanish, Chinese and Japanese), Global Business and International Relations.

This postgraduate professional program is designed to develop graduates to be work-ready for careers in nutrition and dietetics across practice areas including clinical dietetics, private practice, food service management, public health nutrition, sports nutrition, and nutrition research. This program develops student competencies to exceed the accreditation requirements of the Dietitians Association of Australia, making graduates eligible to apply for accredited practicing dietitian (APD) status within the Dietitians Association of Australia. This program is distinctive because of its emphasis on developing evidence-based practitioners that have had intensive preparation in evidence-based dietetic practice, nutrition research, and international engagement. All students will be required to participate in an international placement as part of their program.

The Bachelor of Psychological Science provides students with a scientific understanding of normal psychological processes such as memory, learning, motivation, psychobiology, personality, emotion, developmental psychology and social relationships, as well as training in abnormal psychology. A basic understanding of these topics is acquired across the two introductory subjects before a greater depth of coverage is undertaken within the advanced second and third level subjects. Students also participate in laboratory work and are introduced to the Australian Psychological Society Code of Ethics. To underpin the scientific nature of the discipline, students receive training in a range of data analytic techniques and research methods used by psychologists. The program is designed to equip graduates with the basic scientific grounding and theoretical understanding required for advanced level studies. The Bachelor of Laws prepares students for a career as a legal professional, both within Australia and overseas. It provides students with a thorough grounding in essential areas of substantive law and access to a wide choice of law elective subjects, including the option of completing a specialisation. An integrated skills and professionalism program is embedded in the degree and focuses on core legal skills essential to the practice of law. The Master of Architecture is the accredited professional degree for a career in architecture, complying with the competency requirements of the Board of Architects Queensland and the Architects Accreditation Council of Australia. The Master of Architecture provides a tailored architectural education in a creative studio-based environment focusing heavily upon design through hands-on and digital making with state-of-the-art tools. Project-based design studios focus upon real-world scenarios with specific attention to urbanism, the future of global cities, and the role of architecture and the architect in addressing urban, environmental, social, and technological change. Graduates will display mastery of architectural design abilities that are creative, critical, analytical, and spatial and based in advanced historical, theoretical, technical and disciplinary knowledge. All graduates will complete a design thesis as the cumulative result of the Masters course that demonstrates independent, self-directed critical thinking and sophisticated design capability. Through the program offerings at the Abedian School of Architecture, issues of pressing international and national concern form the core content of the studio curriculum. Among the most prominent of these are the challenges posed by our contemporary condition globally, one characterised by rapid urbanisation, environmental change, technological emergence, and increasing socioeconomic inequity. The Master of Architecture will prepare students for globally-relevant employment through development of a sophisticated set of disciplinary competencies and acquired knowledge, providing the ability to synthesise diverse information in the resolution of complex creative-design challenges using a globally-applicable skillset that is deployed locally.     Established as a highly-flexible and student-focused degree program, students in the Master of Architecture will study for 4 semesters full time, domestic students may also chose to study part-time. Studies include content from the disciplines of architecture, digital media, construction, city planning, urban design, and university electives. Key highlights of the program include an annual all-school “charrette”, several off-campus study tours (including a paid international studio trip for eligble* students), a monthly international guest-lecture series, study with distinguished guest faculty and Architects-In-Residence, a bi-annual student exhibition and publication, and an internationally and nationally recognised academic staff of scholars and practitioner-teachers. Students undertake the Master of Architecture in a unique setting: the national and international award-winning Abedian School of Architecture. This facility and its associated Fabrication and Robotics Lab are dedicated for student use, creating an environment to support creative activity that is accessible 24/7 throughout the year. Students enjoy their own studio-based desk in the School provided for the duration of their studies, which becomes the point of personalised contact with program staff for an individualised, highly supported education. The limited student cohort size of the School is maintained to ensure all students have unique access to workshop facilities and program staff that is unparalleled almost anywhere globally. The Master of Architecture is the terminal award allowing graduates to gain registration as an Architect in Australia and other jurisdictions that recognise the award. Upon completion and to earn registered status, graduates must complete a period of supervised employment experience (minimum 2 years) and pass a registration exam for recognition in Australia. The Master of Architecture provides knowledge, skill, and application (where required) of core competencies including design and documentation, practice management, project management, and understanding of contract law and project procurement. *Student participation in the International study tour is subject to VISA approval, alternative teaching activities will be organised for students not able to travel.

The Master of Valuation and Property Development provides a wide range of skills that can be applied to global property markets. This program is designed to equip graduates with strong knowledge and advanced technical skills applicable to a variety of career paths such as investment, finance, asset management and research. The curriculum addresses a range of topics including finance and taxation, corporate portfolio management, risk identification and management, feasibility analysis, law, property valuation and market analysis. This degree provides the opportunity to specialise in Property Valuation, City Planning or Project Management.

Designed for students who wish to study via a two-semester model, this three-year program means you will study during the January and September semesters of each year only and will complete the degree over three years rather than the usual two. The Bachelor of Commerce (3 Year) develops financial literacy, business analytic and decision-making skills, leadership, and management skills through experiential learning and authentic assessment tasks relevant to the choice of major. The program equips students to think creatively and critically, problem-solve, communicate professionally, work collaboratively, make ethical and responsible business decisions, and work effectively in a global business context characterised by change and uncertainty. Depending on the major selected, students are prepared for a professional career in Accounting, Actuarial Science, Economics or Finance fields. By undertaking a specified set of subjects according to their chosen discipline, Bachelor of Commerce (3 Year) students graduating with an Accounting, Actuarial Science or Finance major are eligible to pursue professional qualifications offered by their field’s governing bodies. Students are also encouraged to complete a second major or minor to diversify their skills and enhance their employability.

The Bond University Bachelor of Exercise and Sports Science equips you with comprehensive knowledge and applied skills in health, fitness, and sports performance. You will gain a comprehensive understanding of the basic and applied sciences as they apply to personal and community health and fitness, and sports performance at all levels. Areas of study include human anatomy and physiology, exercise and sport physiology, exercise biochemistry and molecular biology, biomechanics, motor learning and control, exercise, and sports psychology. The program focuses on real-world learning delivered through significant practical experience and authentic assessment to maximize employment outcomes for graduates. Delivery of the program is primarily at the Bond Institute of Health and Sport where you will gain high-quality and practical learning experiences in our internationally-recognized High-Performance Training Centre, as well as our exercise and sports science teaching and research laboratories. These facilities provide sports science testing, training, and recovery services to a variety of elite and sub-elite athletes including state, national and international athletes and teams, providing an exceptional and authentic learning experience for students.  Throughout the degree, you will engage with and deliver a wide range of athlete testing, performance analysis, exercise prescription, and delivery for healthy individuals and non-athletes, as well as strength and conditioning opportunities for athletes. You will also learn, engage and collaborate with other allied health professional students including physiotherapy, occupational therapy and nutrition, and dietetics, which models the current best practice for allied health care. The program prepares graduates for exciting career opportunities in exercise science, sports science, and strength and conditioning as well as providing an accelerated undergraduate pathway to graduate-entry studies including physiotherapy, occupational therapy, nutrition, and dietetic practice, and high-performance sports science.
