The legal industry is changing. New technologies, new providers, and changing client expectations are disrupting the ways the law is understood, applied, and practised. In this time of radical transformation, the industry needs a new kind of professional – and they’re not lawyers. The Bachelor of Legal Transformation is designed for people who seek a career in the legal industry. Students are trained in the operation and development of digital technologies to transform the ways legal services are delivered and legal problems resolved. The program’s five intersecting components provide graduates with a robust view of legal transformation, a flexible skillset, and a unique area of specialisation.

The Bachelor of Project Management concerns projectised decision-making applicable to a wide range of different industry sectors. It builds on three foundation semesters comprising business acumen, project framework, process analysis and core skill development before three further practice semesters comprising technical, tactical and strategic decision-making. The program includes comprehensive coverage of project schedule, cost, resource, scope, quality, procurement, communications, risk and stakeholder management, two elective choices and concludes with a capstone subject on project integration management. There is an organisational change focus in the curriculum’s design. The program’s curriculum is purposely built around the PMBOK® Guide, which is the international standard for the project management discipline.

The Bachelor of Laws prepares students for a career as a legal professional. It provides students with a thorough grounding in essential areas of substantive law and access to a wide choice of law elective subjects, including the option of completing a specialisation. An integrated skills and professionalism program is embedded in the degree and focuses on core legal skills essential to the practice of law. The Bachelor of Laws provides an engaging learning experience that challenges students academically and prepares them for a legal career.

The Bachelor of Film and Television is a heavily hands-on and project-based degree that allows you to balance practical filmmaking production experience with creative practice theory, enabling you to explore and develop your individual creativity and artistic voice. This comprehensive filmmaking program is focused on visual storytelling through the key creative areas of producing, screenwriting, directing, cinematography, editing, sound design, production design, and television broadcasting. You will be taught by staff with long professional careers in the film, television and screen-based industries, aquiring craft skills in modern production techniques using professional filmmaking equipment and technologies. You will develop strong visual aesthetics and storytelling capabilities and receive insight into the business and industrial aspects of the international film, television and screen-based industries.

Communication skills are in high demand in all fields and most professional roles, including management and specific fields such as advertising, public relations, marketing, journalism, social media, film and television, computer animation, user-interface design, human resources, corporate training, and professional writing. The Bachelor of Communication program will provide you with the skills to stand out as an exceptional communicator in any task. Our flexible Bachelor of Communication provides you with the opportunity to explore many options in personalising your learning. As part of the program, you will select one or two majors or minors in a specific area of interest. These areas include public relations, advertising, journalism, communication and society, corporate storytelling, creative writing, digital media, film and television, and social media. Our subjects contain assessments that may lead you to produce advertising and public relations campaigns for real clients as well as blogs, podcasts, published media stories, and websites. You will also gain insight into communication in various contexts, including interpersonal, intercultural, gender, and persuasive communication. Our graduates are now working with leading advertising agencies, as award-winning investigative journalists, in public relations consultancies, in marketing roles, in corporate training, and in other roles that reflect the evolving nature of communication practices. The Bachelor of Communication offers students the ideal mix of theory and practice, combining foundational studies in Communication and Media with focused studies in the professional disciplines of Public Relations, Advertising and Journalism. The Bachelor of Jurisprudence offers students the opportunity to develop their legal knowledge and combine this with studies of interest from the Faculty of Society and Design. It is not a program for admission purposes.

In addition, you will have the opportunity to learn practical skills such as oral communication, negotiation, and problem-solving in simulated professional environments and state-of-the-art facilities, like our moot courts, skills, and negotiation rooms. The Bachelor of Jurisprudence program provides an opportunity to combine legal subjects of particular interest with study in related disciplines such as international relations, criminology, languages, or communication. The degree structure permits various combinations of law and non-law subjects (including the option of completing a humanities major), which enables you to design a program to meet your particular career interests.

The Bachelor of Property provides a foundation for careers in the property development and management industry and the opportunity to specialise in Property Valuation.  The degree provides a comprehensive range of subjects including construction practices, feasibility studies, finance, investment and valuation, property markets, corporate real estate, land economy, sustainable development and urban development.

The Bachelor of International Hotel and Tourism Management at Bond will prepare you for professional and managerial roles in the tourism industry, including hotels, resorts, airlines, restaurants, theme parks, cruise lines, destination marketing, and management organizations and events. Bond has strong relationships with Marriott, Accor, Hilton, InterContinental, Sheraton, Wyndham, and many other international tourism organizations to ensure that you have the opportunity to see real industry projects and undertake internships throughout your studies.

Designed for students who wish to study via a two-semester model, this three-year program means you will study during the January and May semesters of each year only and will complete the degree over three years rather than the usual two.

The Bachelor of International Hotel and Tourism Management (3 Year Program) will prepare you for professional and managerial roles in the global tourism and hotel industries. You will develop the knowledge and skills required by managers in modern hospitality and tourism businesses with special emphasis on; hotel, tourism and event operations, sustainable tourism, tourism industry analysis, revenue management, and human resource management. Emphasis is placed on practical and experiential learning through field trips, work experience, internships, and real-life case studies. Students will undertake an Industry Experience Placement or an Employment activity as part of the Beyond Bond program.

Data Analytics has become one of the highest growth areas of academic and commercial practice. With applications in nearly all aspects of quantitative endeavors and information management, a skillset in analytics, statistical and machine learning is highly valued and sought after. The Master of Business Data Analytics is delivered via smaller classes providing personalized support and unparalleled access to Bond University's Bond FinTech Hub and Bloomberg data-sourcing terminals. The focus within this program is on strategically sound recommendations and data-driven business decisions.
