The Bachelor of Business prepares you for leadership roles in today’s global businesses. The subjects in Business Model Generation and Business Model Execution will develop every student’s entrepreneurial and innovation abilities. All students in this program will be involved with ideation, creation, validation and execution of a business.  This gives you the edge over other business graduates. The Bachelor of Laws prepares students for a career as a legal professional, both within Australia and overseas. It provides students with a thorough grounding in essential areas of substantive law and access to a wide choice of law elective subjects, including the option of completing a specialisation. An integrated skills and professionalism program is embedded in the degree and focuses on core legal skills essential to the practice of law. The Bachelor of Laws provides an engaging learning experience that challenges students academically and prepares them practically for a legal career.

The Bond MBA (Professional) provides students with a solid foundation in a variety of business practices, plus the ability to gain a specialisation.  The professional program follows the same structure as the Master of Business Administration program with an additional 20-week Professional component. The program focuses on developing self-analysis and reflective learning skills and applying theoretical solutions for practical workplace problems. The program also provides global networking opportunities. The program equips students to think critically, communicate professionally, work collaboratively, make ethical and responsible business decisions, and work effectively in a global business context characterised by change and uncertainty. The classes combine theoretical knowledge in Business with practical insights delivered through case studies, guest lectures and work-integrated learning. Team building is encouraged through group projects and communication skills are enhanced through class presentations.

The Master of International Relations program is an innovative, forward-looking program that is attuned to the dynamics of the globalizing world and its multiple diplomatic channels. The program provides you with a solid grounding in contemporary, theoretical, and cultural issues and, through an enhanced understanding of regional and global politics, development, strategic decision making, sociology, and economy, you will be able to further your career in diplomacy, international trade, government, and business. At the end of the program, you will undertake a professional portfolio involving your research and practical expertise in your chosen vocational area.  Eligibility criteria apply to the professional placement option.  The program duration is 4 semesters and 20 weeks (92 weeks).

The Master of Accounting (Professional) program is a specialist program for students interested in pursuing a professional accounting qualification. It incorporates the traditional Master of Accounting program designed to provide an opportunity for students with undergraduate training in other fields to gain a professional accounting qualification. The professional program follows the same structure as the Master of Accounting program with an additional 20-week Professional component. The MAcc (Prof) offers a firm academic grounding in the accounting discipline and offers a hands-on appreciation of the industry. The program is a powerful amalgam of foundational accounting skills, decision-making, leadership and financial literacy with the ability to advise business on financial issues

The Bachelor of International Relations prepares students for fascinating careers in a globalising world. Global and regional interdependence means that no state is unaffected by developments beyond its borders. Prosperity and security are based on international orientations. Businesses, governments and organisations need people equipped not only with relevant professional skills, but also with competencies in International Relations. Students explore a rich variety of interconnected issues in International Relations and the factors which shape them, including war and peace on our planet, human security, diplomacy, governance and the influence of climate change on the future world. Graduates of the program will gain an insight into the politics, economy, diplomacy both in Australia and other world geographic regions. An in-depth understanding of the world around us and the skills needed for its interpretation, equip students for their future employment in International Relations and many other areas where such capacities are required. The Master of Valuation and Property Development (Professional) provides a wide range of skills that can be applied to global property markets. This program is designed to equip graduates with strong knowledge and advanced technical skills applicable to a variety of career paths such as property valuation and investment, finance, asset management and research. The curriculum addresses a range of topics including finance and taxation, corporate portfolio management, risk identification and management, feasibility analysis, law, property valuation and market analysis. This degree provides the opportunity to specialise in Property Valuation. Professional Portfolio is a 20 week, 45 credit point subject available to Masters of Valuation and Property Development (Professional) students in the Faculty of Society & Design. This subject is strongly experientially oriented and encourages students to develop their professional skills in a real world environment. The subject will ensure that students combine self-analysis and reflective learning skills with professional methodologies, so as to expand analytic and strategic thinking capabilities. It will provide practical experience for students to develop their skills in a profession relevant to their Master’s specialisation. All students will complete a 2,000-word scoping document, and either undertake a work placement in Australia for 210 hours (which includes an employer’s report) and reflective journal (up to 5,000 words) OR complete a collaborative research project totalling up to 15,000 words. All students will submit a final professional portfolio collection of documents, highlighting their practical and theoretical expertise in their profession of choice.

This combined degree allows students to complete their program in a shorter duration than completing back-to-back single degrees. Individually, both degrees equip students to think creatively and critically, problem-solve, communicate professionally, work collaboratively, make ethical and responsible business decisions, and work effectively in a global context that is increasingly uncertain and complex. In combination, these two degrees not only present graduates with a broad range of career options but also provide an opportunity to specialise in their chosen career. The variety of possible career alternatives offered through the Bachelor of Business is found in the scope of majors on offer. These include Entrepreneurship and Innovation, International Business, Management, Marketing, Marketing Communication, and Tourism Management. Students are also encouraged to complete an internship, and/or undertake study abroad opportunities or a study tour to further augment this highly experiential program. The Bachelor of Commerce degree is more technical and discipline-focused and aims to prepare students for a career as a professional in a specific field. This degree is designed to develop students’ financial competencies, business analytic and decision-making skills and collaboration skills through experiential learning and authentic assessment tasks relevant to the choice of major. Students complete a major which specifically prepares them for a professional career in Accounting, Actuarial Science, Big Data, Economics or Finance fields. By undertaking a specified set of subjects according to their chosen discipline, Bachelor of Commerce students graduating with an Accounting, Actuarial Science or Finance major are generally eligible to pursue professional qualifications offered by their field’s governing bodies.

The Bachelor of Biomedical Science is a 2-year accelerated degree that provides you with the ideal undergraduate foundation for a career in the health sciences. The program develops your knowledge in the molecular, cellular, anatomical, and physiological processes of the human body and prepares you for graduate-entry programs such as medicine and the allied health professions. The program will develop your knowledge and laboratory skills across a range of disciplines including anatomy, physiology, and pathophysiology, pharmacology, chemistry, biochemistry, cell biology, genetics, and microbiology. Extensive laboratory training from the first semester, as well as case studies and problem-solving techniques are applied within a variety of clinical, research, and allied health care settings. The program focuses on real-world learning, where you will gain exceptional, high-quality practical experience in our health science laboratories. You will be able to develop and master technical-scientific and research skills using some of the latest research equipment, from the very first semester. Due to Bond University’s small class sizes, you will be able to enjoy extensive use of this equipment and will be able to use the facilities outside of scheduled class times to further develop and refine your practical skills. The laboratories have dedicated laboratory staff to provide support and optimise your learning experience. An innovative feature of the program is the application of problem-based learning in the curriculum, a popular feature in medical programs which creates an engaging student learning experience to increase analytical reasoning and critical thinking skills.

The Bond MBA is a generalist management program of 12 subjects. Designed to blend industry-relevant research with practical applications and challenges, the intended learning outcomes are centred on the three pillars of leadership, global business and entrepreneurship, developing graduates who can think critically and strategically in this context. The program is designed to provide graduates with the core underlying technical skills that inform effective decision making, framed around the development of the interpersonal, cross-cultural and communication skills that are required to lead in the implementation of these decisions.
