The Bachelor of International Relations prepares you for a fascinating career in a globalising world. Accredited by the Actuaries Institute, the Master of Actuarial Science is an innovative and immersive program that combines elements of economics, finance, statistics, data analytics and advanced mathematics to develop techniques for the management of risk and business decision making.  The Master of Actuarial Science will be taught via smaller classes for personalised attention and unparalleled access to Bond University's Bond FinTech Hub and Bloomberg data-sourcing terminals. The program will develop skills in the challenge of crunching 'big data' numbers to create practical solutions for real-world problems.  Employment opportunities include working as an investment analyst, portfolio manager, actuarial consultant, insurance actuary, superannuation actuary, risk analyst, big data analyst, liability manager and high-level manager.  The successful completion of the program at an appropriate level of performance will lead to Part I qualification with the Actuaries Institute

Building surveyors are in high demand both locally and nationally! The industry continues to grow as the need for infrastructure and construction heightens. By studying the Master of Building Surveying in Australia, graduates are equipped with the advanced knowledge of building legislation, technical codes, and construction standards, providing them the opportunity to work in the government or private sector.

The Master of Building Surveying offers students the chance to increase their knowledge in the field of building surveying. Students will study with world-class academics and experienced practitioners. The program comprises two specialist subjects plus six shared core subjects. Completion of a further four postgraduate elective subjects will allow you to graduate with a Master of Building Surveying.

The Master of Valuation and Property Development (Professional) provides a wide range of skills that can be applied to global property markets. This program is designed to equip graduates with strong knowledge and advanced technical skills applicable to a variety of career paths such as property valuation and investment, finance, asset management and research. The curriculum addresses a range of topics including finance and taxation, corporate portfolio management, risk identification and management, feasibility analysis, law, property valuation and market analysis. This degree provides the opportunity to specialise in Property Valuation. Professional Portfolio is a 20 week, 45 credit point subject available to Masters of Valuation and Property Development (Professional) students in the Faculty of Society & Design. This subject is strongly experientially oriented and encourages students to develop their professional skills in a real world environment. The subject will ensure that students combine self-analysis and reflective learning skills with professional methodologies, so as to expand analytic and strategic thinking capabilities. It will provide practical experience for students to develop their skills in a profession relevant to their Master’s specialisation. All students will complete a 2,000-word scoping document, and either undertake a work placement in Australia for 210 hours (which includes an employer’s report) and reflective journal (up to 5,000 words) OR complete a collaborative research project totalling up to 15,000 words. All students will submit a final professional portfolio collection of documents, highlighting their practical and theoretical expertise in their profession of choice.

The Bachelor of Business prepares students for a variety of possible career paths by offering a broad range of advanced study options. These options include Entrepreneurship and Innovation, International Business, Management, Marketing, Marketing Communication and Tourism Management. All students complete a major from one of these options, but may also choose to add a second major, a minor, or create a tailored set of subjects from across the university to complete their degree. Students are encouraged to complete an internship, study abroad opportunities or a study tour to further augment this highly experiential program.

The Bachelor of Social Science program encompasses several disciplines including criminology, psychology, counselling and behaviour management. The program allows you to combine majors to complete a program whose title reflects a specialisation of studies in a social sciences discipline area. The Bachelor of Business prepares you for leadership roles in today’s global businesses. Subjects in Business Model Generation and Business Model Execution will develop your entrepreneurial and innovation abilities.  You will be involved with the ideation, creation, validation and execution of a business which will give you the the edge over other business graduates.

The Bachelor of Jurisprudence offers students the opportunity to develop their legal knowledge and combine this with studies of interest from the Faculty of Society and Design. It is not a program for admission purposes.
