The Bachelor of Film and Television is a heavily hands-on and project-based degree that allows you to balance practical filmmaking production experience with creative practice theory, enabling you to explore and develop your individual creativity and artistic voice. This comprehensive filmmaking program is focused on visual storytelling through the key creative areas of producing, screenwriting, directing, cinematography, editing, sound design, production design, and television broadcasting. You will be taught by staff with long professional careers in the film, television and screen-based industries, acquiring craft skills in modern production techniques using professional filmmaking equipment and technologies. You will develop strong visual aesthetics and storytelling capabilities and receive insight into the business and industrial aspects of the international film, television and screen-based industries. This three-year program is designed for international students who wish to study via a two-semester a year model, allowing them to complete the program over three year period.

The Bachelor of Business prepares you for leadership roles in today’s global businesses. The subjects in Business Model Generation and Business Model Execution will develop every student’s entrepreneurial and innovation abilities. All students in this program will be involved with ideation, creation, validation and execution of a business.  This gives you the edge over other business graduates. The Bachelor of Laws prepares students for a career as a legal professional, both within Australia and overseas. It provides students with a thorough grounding in essential areas of substantive law and access to a wide choice of law elective subjects, including the option of completing a specialisation. The Bachelor of Social Science program encompasses several disciplines including criminology, psychology, counselling and behaviour management. The program allows you to combine majors to complete a program whose title reflects a specialisation of studies in a social sciences discipline area. The Master of Construction Practice covers a comprehensive range of subjects in the field of construction practice, focusing on the management and delivery of complex construction projects. The curriculum addresses a range of topics including building structures and soil mechanics, construction technology, construction techniques, plant and equipment, contract administration, building measurement, finance and cost planning, project management, refurbishment and retrofitting and risks. The program is accredited by the Australian Institute of Quantity Surveyors (AIQS), the Chartered Institute of Building (CIOB) and the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS). The program also meets the educational requirements of the Queensland Building and Construction Commission (QBCC) for attainment of an Open Builders License. The ’Professional’ component of the degree involves an additional 20 weeks to the Master of Construction Practice program. This component enables students to develop their work ready skills to expand their analytic and strategic thinking capabilities through self analysis focused on work place outcomes and context. It also provides practical experience for students to appreciate the requirements of an industry workplace and develop their communication skills to improve their employability. Students will undertake either a Work Placement in Australia (210 hours) OR a complete Professional Program (210 hours) that offers students a mix of classroom learning and practical experiences incorporating skills sessions, industry guest involvement, projects and practical assessment pieces replicating workplace tasks.

The Bachelor of Business Data Analytics program is focused on using data analytics techniques to improve business decision making.  It is a quantitative program, combining elements of statistics, computing, big data and machine learning. The Bachelor of Business Data Analytics is taught via smaller classes for personalised attention and unparalleled access to facilities like the Bond University Business School’s Big Data Centre. The program develops students’ skills in the development and understanding of analytics and analytic techniques and focuses on how these techniques can be used to solve real-world business problems and better inform evidence-based decision making. Employment opportunities include working in business as a Data Scientist, Data Analyst, or statistics consultant.

The Master of Professional Psychology will provide selected Psychology graduates with a fifth year of professional training in Psychology. The degree will incorporate both coursework and supervised training and practice with the aim to provide students with a thorough grounding in professional practice to meet the accreditation standards set by APAC. 

On completion of this program, students will be able to seek registration as a general Psychologist following a further sixth year of approved supervised practice.

This program is primarily delivered at the Bond Institute of Health and Sport where you will gain high-quality and practical learning experiences through our National Strength and Conditioning Association-accredited High-Performance Training Centre. These facilities provide sports science testing, training, and recovery services to state, national and international athletes and teams. You will also gain industry accreditations in Strength and Conditioning as well as Sports First Aid. The program prepares graduates for exciting career opportunities in exercise and sports performance including strength and conditioning as well as providing an accelerated undergraduate pathway to graduate-entry studies including physiotherapy, occupational therapy, nutrition, and dietetic practice, and high-performance sports science.

The Bachelor of Commerce program is an innovative program designed for students interested in the financial side of the business.
