The Bachelor of Creative Arts is an innovative program that tailors its offerings to students’ unique ambitions and interests. The personalised nature of the program empowers students to identify their own ambitions, then equips them with the skills, theory and practice to navigate existing pathways—or design their own. Creative Arts students undertake three majors. All students begin with creative writing subjects to develop a range of foundation skills in creative thinking and narrative. Students also select a specialist creative major (Advertising; Communication & Society; Corporate Storytelling; Digital Media; Film & Television; Journalism; Media Studies; Public Relations or Social Media). Within their creative specialisation, students learn through a hands-on, project-based approach to learning, where they are encouraged to develop industry relationships, undertake creative internships and practice and publish within their chosen creative niches. Finally, the flexible program enables students to ground their creative endeavours within a third major. A creative entrepreneur may pursue a business major, an aspiring thriller writer might study criminology or a documentary filmmaker might study international relations to better understand working in a non–profit organisation. In the final stages of their degree, students will have the opportunity to develop a substantial creative project, which will knit what they have learned across their three selected content areas together into a major portfolio piece showcasing their skills and talents.

The Bachelor of Project Management concerns projectised decision-making applicable to a wide range of different industry sectors. It builds on three foundation semesters comprising business acumen, project framework, process analysis and core skill development before three further practice semesters comprising technical, tactical and strategic decision-making. The program includes comprehensive coverage of project schedule, cost, resource, scope, quality, procurement, communications, risk and stakeholder management, two elective choices and concludes with a capstone subject on project integration management. There is an organisational change focus in the curriculum’s design. The program’s curriculum is purposely built around the PMBOK® Guide, which is the international standard for the project management discipline.

The Bachelor of Business Data Analytics program is focused on using data analytics techniques to improve business decision making.  It is a quantitative program, combining elements of statistics, computing, big data and machine learning. The Bachelor of Business Data Analytics is taught via smaller classes for personalised attention and unparalleled access to facilities like the Bond University Business School’s Big Data Centre. The program develops students’ skills in the development and understanding of analytics and analytic techniques and focuses on how these techniques can be used to solve real-world business problems and better inform evidence-based decision making. Employment opportunities include working in business as a Data Scientist, Data Analyst, or statistics consultant.

The Master of Financial Management is a postgraduate qualification that provides potential corporate managers, business bankers, wealth advisors, and financial managers with the essential knowledge and analytical skills for making key financial decisions. The classes combine theoretical knowledge in Finance with practical insights delivered through case studies and guest lectures. Team building is encouraged through group projects, and communication skills are enhanced through class presentations.  The program equips students to think critically, communicate professionally, work collaboratively, make ethical and responsible business decisions, and work effectively in a global business context characterized by change and uncertainty. The Bachelor of Property provides a foundation for careers in the property development and management industry and the opportunity to specialise in Property Valuation.  The degree provides a comprehensive range of subjects including construction practices, feasibility studies, finance, investment and valuation, property markets, corporate real estate, land economy, sustainable development and urban development.

The combined Masters program in Communications and Project Management enables students interested in a career in corporate communications, public relations and strategic and cultural communication to acquire expertise in the planning, implementation and management of projects and programs. The addition of project and program management skills enables you to access more strategic positions in your organisation and to be responsible for overseeing new initiatives involving the management of scope, time, cost and risk. Communication is also a key competency of project and program management, and it is therefore beneficial for those pursuing a project management career to undertake a combined program with Communication.  On completion of the combined program, you will graduate with a Master of Communication and a Master of Project Management and subsequently be internationally recognised by the Project Management Institute (PMI). In the Master of Communication, you will gain applied skills and knowledge in advertising, public relations, social media, human communication theory, relational communication, organisational communication and leadership, and communication research.

The Bachelor of Criminal Justice and Criminology equips you with the practical and analytical skills needed in this rapidly changing world. Given shifting perceptions of crimes and harms and social inequities, this program interrogates profiles, patterns and trends, public and media influence on policy in how states respond, and situates crime events involving offenders, victims, and communities within cultural and historical contexts. It provides you with the knowledge and industry-facing practice that will help lead cultural and systemic change across a wide range of justice-oriented organisations.

The program encompasses theoretical and practical aspects of current and anticipated opportunities in the criminal justice workforce to gain a competitive advantage in employability outcomes. Subjects include criminal justice, cybercrime, criminal law, explanations for crime, miscarriages of justice and crime prevention.  You will be prepared with industry-relevant capacity for career options in justice-related positions across private, government, not-for-profit agencies aligned with professional roles in support, policy and research sectors.

The Bond University Bachelor of Exercise and Sports Performance equip you with comprehensive knowledge and applied skills in health, fitness, and sports performance. You will gain a comprehensive understanding of the basic and applied sciences as they apply to personal and community health and fitness, and sports performance at all levels. Focusing on real-world learning, this program is delivered by award-winning teaching staff through significant practical experience and authentic assessment to maximize employment outcomes for graduates. This program is primarily delivered at the Bond Institute of Health and Sport where you will gain high-quality and practical learning experiences through our National Strength and Conditioning Association-accredited High-Performance Training Centre. These facilities provide sports science testing, training, and recovery services to state, national and international athletes and teams. You will also gain industry accreditations in Strength and Conditioning as well as Sports First Aid. The program prepares graduates for exciting career opportunities in exercise and sports performance including strength and conditioning as well as providing an accelerated undergraduate pathway to graduate-entry studies including physiotherapy, occupational therapy, nutrition, and dietetic practice, and high-performance sports science.
