The Bachelor of International Relations prepares you for a fascinating career in a globalising world. The Bachelor of Commerce (3 Year) develops financial literacy, business analytic and decision-making skills, leadership, and management skills through experiential learning and authentic assessment tasks relevant to the choice of major. The program equips students to think creatively and critically, problem-solve, communicate professionally, work collaboratively, make ethical and responsible business decisions, and work effectively in a global business context characterised by change and uncertainty. Depending on the major selected, students are prepared for a professional career in Accounting, Actuarial Science, Economics or Finance fields. By undertaking a specified set of subjects according to their chosen discipline, Bachelor of Commerce (3 Year) students graduating with an Accounting, Actuarial Science or Finance major are eligible to pursue professional qualifications offered by their field’s governing bodies. Students are also encouraged to complete a second major or minor to diversify their skills and enhance their employability.

The combined Masters degree in Construction Practice and Project Management enables students interested in being a construction project manager to gain specialised knowledge related to the delivery of complex buildings. Construction was the first and is still the dominant sector of the economy where project management is practised. It is also an international endeavour, where the cost and complexity of major buildings is ever increasing. Therefore, a combined understanding of the construction process together with the generic principles of successful management of scope, time, cost, risk, human resources, quality, procurement, stakeholders and environmental impact, and their balanced integration, is most valuable. Construction project managers demand salaries at the top of the professional range, and may be involved in commercial, residential, industrial and civil developments, including in the energy and resources sector. Students graduate with a Master of Construction Practice and a Master of Project Management upon completion. This degree is internationally recognised by the Project Management Institute (PMI).

The Bachelor of Project Management concerns projectised decision-making applicable to a wide range of different industry sectors. It builds on three foundation semesters comprising business acumen, project framework, process analysis and core skill development before three further practice semesters comprising technical, tactical and strategic decision-making. The program includes comprehensive coverage of project schedule, cost, resource, scope, quality, procurement, communications, risk and stakeholder management, two elective choices and concludes with a capstone subject on project integration management. There is an organisational change focus in the curriculum’s design. The Bachelor of Film and Television is a heavily hands-on and project-based degree that allows you to balance practical filmmaking production experience with creative practice theory, enabling you to explore and develop your individual creativity and artistic voice. This comprehensive filmmaking program is focused on visual storytelling through the key creative areas of producing, screenwriting, directing, cinematography, editing, sound design, production design, and television broadcasting. You will be taught by staff with long professional careers in the film, television and screen-based industries, acquiring craft skills in modern production techniques using professional filmmaking equipment and technologies. You will develop strong visual aesthetics and storytelling capabilities and receive insight into the business and industrial aspects of the international film, television and screen-based industries. The Bachelor of Criminal Justice and Criminology equips you with the practical and analytical skills needed in this rapidly changing world. Given shifting perceptions of crimes and harms and social inequities, this program interrogates profiles, patterns and trends, public and media influence on policy in how states respond, and situates crime events involving offenders, victims, and communities within cultural and historical contexts. The program encompasses theoretical and practical aspects of current and anticipated opportunities in the criminal justice workforce to gain a competitive advantage in employability outcomes. Subjects include criminal justice, cybercrime, criminal law, explanations for crime, miscarriages of justice and crime prevention.  You will be prepared with industry-relevant capacity for career options in justice-related positions across private, government, not-for-profit agencies aligned with professional roles in support, policy and research sectors.

This postgraduate professional program is designed to develop graduates to be work-ready for careers in nutrition and dietetics across practice areas including clinical dietetics, private practice, food service management, public health nutrition, sports nutrition, and nutrition research. This program develops student competencies to exceed the accreditation requirements of the Dietitians Association of Australia, making graduates eligible to apply for accredited practicing dietitian (APD) status within the Dietitians Association of Australia.
