The Diploma of Business Studies course is designed to provide you with foundation skills in business and management. The course equips you with knowledge and skills required in business accounting, analytics, economics, legal issues in business, management and marketing; plus the opportunity to explore human resource management, property or financial planning. The course includes seven core units of study and one elective unit which provides you with foundation skills to either undertake further study in a business related bachelor degree or enter into employment. Successful completion of the diploma will provide opportunity for you to receive credit for eight units of study in the Bachelor of Business. You have the option to pathway into the second year of the Bachelor of Business degree or enter into employment. The course provides opportunity for you to undertake part time or online study while balancing your personal and professional commitments.

If you're an established or aspiring information technology (IT) professional the Master of Information Technology will expand your professional knowledge and skills in information technology (IT). During the course, you will study a common first term made up of four units covering project management, introductory programming, ICT services management and information systems analysis and design. The Bachelor of Hospitality Management offers you a unique learning journey that will provide you with foundation business knowledge as well as the opportunity to choose from elective areas of study. The eight industry relevant electives strengthen the relevance of your study to the world of hospitality work. The course provides you with knowledge and skills to work effectively in the hospitality and tourism industry.  The Bachelor of Hospitality Management is designed for students who have completed an Advanced Diploma or a Diploma from a recognised institution. The course provides you with a direct pathway based on prior completion of a vocational or higher education qualification in hospitality management. The vocational pathway provides you with a strong foundation to complete the course in one and a half or two years depending on your entry pathway.

During your studies, your core units will provide you with a comprehensive understanding of key areas in IT and computer-based systems. From your second term, you will begin to study units from your chosen major - Application Development, Business Analysis or Cyber Security.

The Master of Engineering allows you the opportunity to develop professional skills such as teamwork and communication while applying and further developing the theoretical knowledge you gained in your undergraduate study. If you are a practicing engineer, this is a versatile course that allows you to extend or expand your engineering practice.  

This course begins with an introduction to Australian engineering practice, providing the opportunity to apply discipline knowledge and skills in an authentic project, in some cases with an industry mentor, and will help to prepare you for engineering practice. You will then complete an internship of a minimum of 300 hours to gain work experience required to meet the accreditation requirements of the course. If you have significant and recent engineering experience (at least 480 hours) you may opt out of this unit and choose an elective unit as an alternative.

Depending on your choice of elective units, you will study one or two units from topics including sustainability, mining, project management and rail providing the opportunity to contextualise your learning to your current or preferred industry. Finally, you will complete a major research project that will demonstrate your ability to work as a professional engineer.
