The Bachelor of Hospitality Management offers you a unique learning journey that will provide you with foundation business knowledge as well as the opportunity to choose from elective areas of study. The eight industry relevant electives strengthen the relevance of your study to the world of hospitality work. The course provides you with knowledge and skills to work effectively in the hospitality and tourism industry.  The Bachelor of Hospitality Management is designed for students who have completed an Advanced Diploma or a Diploma from a recognised institution. The course provides you with a direct pathway based on prior completion of a vocational or higher education qualification in hospitality management. The vocational pathway provides you with a strong foundation to complete the course in one and a half or two years depending on your entry pathway.

The Diploma of Business Studies course is designed to provide you with foundation skills in business and management. The course equips you with knowledge and skills required in business accounting, analytics, economics, legal issues in business, management and marketing; plus the opportunity to explore human resource management, property or financial planning. The course includes seven core units of study and one elective unit which provides you with foundation skills to either undertake further study in a business related bachelor degree or enter into employment. Successful completion of the diploma will provide opportunity for you to receive credit for eight units of study in the Bachelor of Business. You have the option to pathway into the second year of the Bachelor of Business degree or enter into employment. The course provides opportunity for you to undertake part time or online study while balancing your personal and professional commitments.

The Master of Business Administration is generally regarded as the premier business qualification for practising managers and leaders. The MBA (Global) uses the DNA of our MBA and is a course for students from different countries, with limited prior work experience with varying employment backgrounds, who are seeking career advancement and future employment opportunities.

The MBA (Global) will greatly assist your understanding and application of best-practice management and business knowledge, to improve organisational effectiveness from a strategic and cross cultural perspective. While undertaking the MBA (Global), you will gain differing perspectives and approaches to current and emerging business issues through interaction with academics, colleagues and members of the business community, thus enabling you to competently lead, manage, and understand the key aspects of business and organisations within a global context.

This course provides an opportunity for you to extend your knowledge through coursework into project management and/or develop a research career in your relevant profession. This course focuses on both the hard technical and soft human aspects of project management. All the course materials have been aligned to the Project Management Institute (PMI) global standards and core bodies of knowledge. In the final year of the course, you can choose one of three streams; a research stream, a practicum stream, or an internship stream.

If you opt for the research stream your project can be based on either your workplace or issues that are important to your profession. The research stream will also allow you to meet the eligibility criteria to enrol in a Ph.D. program should you have a plan for an academic career as it suffices the threshold ratio of the research components in the Masters Course. The practicum is student-led and you will develop a project within a simulated company environment. Alternatively, you can opt for an internship, and if you are eligible, you will be placed at a host organisation to further develop your skills and competencies and obtain authentic experience in project management. In this innovative course, the origins and evolution of public health and the underlying principles of community-based and community-led public health will be explored. The social-ecological model of health forms the basis of the Master of Public Health and you will study complex adaptive systems thinking and how this influences the way we think about public health.

You will have the opportunity to apply these concepts in practical ways in both strengths-based and disease prevention approaches. This will ensure that you apply your learning to real-world situations.
