The Master of Information Systems provides you the opportunity to extend your knowledge and skills in information technology, with a focus on business analysis skills at a professional level. This course will provide you with the choice of completing an internship or project stream to contextualise your learning. Generally, the internship will be made of up a 10-week placement with a relevant organisation, with assessments completed throughout the term. Please note, internships cannot be taken at your current employer. Alternatively, the capstone stream provides the opportunity to apply your knowledge to an industry-relevant project. Projects in the capstone stream may be taken with your employer, provided other students can also participate in the same project.

In this innovative course, the origins and evolution of public health and the underlying principles of community-based and community-led public health will be explored. The social-ecological model of health forms the basis of the Master of Public Health and you will study complex adaptive systems thinking and how this influences the way we think about public health.

You will have the opportunity to apply these concepts in practical ways in both strengths-based and disease prevention approaches. This will ensure that you apply your learning to real-world situations.

The Diploma of Business Studies course is designed to provide you with foundation skills in business and management. The course equips you with knowledge and skills required in business accounting, analytics, economics, legal issues in business, management and marketing; plus the opportunity to explore human resource management, property or financial planning. The course includes seven core units of study and one elective unit which provides you with foundation skills to either undertake further study in a business related bachelor degree or enter into employment. Successful completion of the diploma will provide opportunity for you to receive credit for eight units of study in the Bachelor of Business.
