In this innovative course, the origins and evolution of public health and the underlying principles of community-based and community-led public health will be explored. The social-ecological model of health forms the basis of the Master of Public Health and you will study complex adaptive systems thinking and how this influences the way we think about public health.

The Master of Information Systems provides you the opportunity to extend your knowledge and skills in information technology, with a focus on business analysis skills at a professional level. This course will provide you with the choice of completing an internship or project stream to contextualise your learning. Generally, the internship will be made of up a 10-week placement with a relevant organisation, with assessments completed throughout the term. Please note, internships cannot be taken at your current employer. Alternatively, the capstone stream provides the opportunity to apply your knowledge to an industry-relevant project. Projects in the capstone stream may be taken with your employer, provided other students can also participate in the same project.

By choosing to study a Graduate Diploma of Information Technology you will obtain the knowledge to successfully design, implement and manage issues involved in the application of Information Technology (IT).

You have the option to choose one unit from one of the three majors in the Master of Information Technology (software design and development, networks and information security, and mobile application development) plus one elective. The Diploma of Business Studies course is designed to provide you with foundation skills in business and management. The course equips you with knowledge and skills required in business accounting, analytics, economics, legal issues in business, management and marketing; plus the opportunity to explore human resource management, property or financial planning. The course includes seven core units of study and one elective unit which provides you with foundation skills to either undertake further study in a business related bachelor degree or enter into employment. Successful completion of the diploma will provide opportunity for you to receive credit for eight units of study in the Bachelor of Business. You have the option to pathway into the second year of the Bachelor of Business degree or enter into employment. The course provides opportunity for you to undertake part time or online study while balancing your personal and professional commitments.

The Graduate Diploma of Construction Management (GDCM-CL83) course incorporates principles of project management as it applies across different phases of the construction cycle to achieve successful project outcomes in terms of time, cost, quality, safety, and sustainability for construction projects. This course provides the basis for exciting careers as construction managers and assists with employment areas of Construction Management including Project Management principles, Construction Contract Administration, Construction Risk Management and Construction Technology.

The course is appropriate for people seeking careers in construction management, project management from a national and international construction management perspective. It also provides valuable education for those seeking a broader career basis such as; architects, builders, engineers, quantity surveyors, construction economists, and facilities managers. This course will provide opportunities for students to advance their studies in construction management in either full-time or part-time modes. As this course incorporates the first eight units of the Master of Construction Management (MCM-CL82), students can use CL83 as a pathway to extend their studies to the masters program.
