The Master of Information Technology (Professional Computing) is concerned with the mastery of theoretical knowledge and practical skills related to the design, construction, operation, support and maintenance of information technology (IT) solutions. This course will provide you with advanced skills and introduces state-of-the-art techniques used in the design and construction of IT solutions, as well as the research skills needed to assess the effectiveness of a solution or technology. The Master of Information Technology (Professional Computing) allows IT graduates to further specialise or supplement their knowledge in selected ICT areas.

The Master of Construction and Infrastructure Management aims to prepare graduates for future roles in managing people, equipment, materials, technological processes and funds in the construction, management and maintenance of buildings and assets in the civil infrastructure. This aim is facilitated by the study of advanced management and engineering techniques in the fields of construction, building and maintenance.

Students gain significant knowledge and skills in procurement and project delivery, resource planning and management, project costing, health and safety, and risk management. They also learn about the environmental, financial, legal and contractual considerations associated with project-based industries.

The Master of Business Administration focuses on leadership and change, innovation and entrepreneurship, finance, ethical practices and social responsibility. It equips students with the capacity to start new ventures or initiate organisational improvements successfully by building on authentic learning experiences and solutions-driven business scenarios.

It provides an excellent opportunity for students to gain holistic management and business knowledge which prepares them for general management roles. The course design also allows the choice of electives to complete a related business specialisation such as supply chain management, project management and human resource management.

The Master of Business Administration forms the final stage in a three-stage nested suite of programs consisting of:

The Master of Data Science is designed for postgraduate students who wish to extend their knowledge of computer science and data analytics in order to be able to gain meaningful insights from data coming from a variety of sources (business, governments, science). Students will develop skills in state-of-the-art techniques and gain experience in contemporary tools covering a variety of aspects of the entire data management lifecycle, allowing them to work on the forefront of data-driven decision making and forecasting. This advanced postgraduate course will build on students’ cognate undergraduate qualifications or relevant industry experience by developing an in-depth understanding of the activities related to managing, interpreting, understanding and deriving knowledge from large data sets.
