The Graduate Diploma in Early Childhood Education is designed to give you the skills and confidence to become an innovative and attuned professional teacher with the knowledge and experience to work in private enterprise, government agencies and community-based early childhood education settings, either locally or globally.

At the end of your studies, you'll be qualified to teach in the early childhood setting in Victoria. If you’re interested in teaching outside of Victoria or overseas, registration will be subject to the criteria of the relevant state or overseas accrediting authorities.

During your studies, you will have the flexibility to specialise in either advanced automotive design and development or automotive manufacturing.

Using contemporary engineering methods and computational and experimental tools, including advanced computer-aided engineering software such as LS-DYNA, you’ll gain hands-on experience in several state-of-the-art experimental facilities—including the full-scale Vehicle Wind Tunnel, Driverless Vehicles Lab, Green Engines Research Laboratory and Vehicle NVH Laboratory.

The Master of Engineering (International Automotive Engineering) promotes hands-on practice by incorporating a project that will enable you to apply the learned technologies to a real-world automotive system application.

This degree focuses on sustainable design and manufacturing practices based on the entire lifecycle (from 'cradle to grave') of vehicles. This incorporates the design for disposal and recycle, disassembly, lifecycle assessment, alternative fuels, and powertrains and light structures.

Through project-based learning and the exploration of real-life problems with industry peers, you’ll develop a comprehensive understanding of the product lifecycle and systems design of modern automobiles and associated technologies. Pursue a career in the fascinating field of diagnostity pathology or medical research with the Master of Laboratory Medicine.

As a student in this degree, you will build the necessary knowledge to perform and oversee a range of diagnostic procedures in a clinical pathology laboratory. You'll also hone your skills in problem solving and critical thinking.

During this degree, you will choose two areas of specialisation. These advanced clinical pathology discipline streams include:

• Anatomical pathology
• Clinical biochemistry

• Medical microbiology
• Transfusion and transplantation science.

The Master of Laboratory Medicine is designed for graduates of general science or biomedical science degrees who are interested in a career in diagnostic pathology or medical research but who lack experience in the diagnostic laboratory disciplines.

RMIT's Bachelor of Laboratory Medicine (Honours) will equip you with fundamental knowledge of human anatomy and physiology, develop your communication and professional skills and introduce you to factors that impact the health of individuals and communities, particularly our First Nations peoples.

You'll build skills and knowledge of molecular diagnostics which will provide an overview of the detection and application of biochemical and molecular biology techniques (DNA or RNA) to provide clinical information in the study of human diseases, including infectious disease, inherited conditions and cancer.

You'll also learn about clinical immunology and pathology, gaining an understanding of the diagnosis and management of patients with diseases or disease processes that result from disturbed immunological or pathophysiological mechanisms.

As a graduate of this laboratory medicine degree, you'll be qualified to practise as a medical scientist in the diagnostic pathology industry, be competitive for employment in medical research and be competitive for entry into PhD studies.

It is a unique supervisor-guided independent research project with complimentary workshops in research methods and scientific communication appropriate to your chosen research discipline. Specifically, the benefits of an honours degree are:

Mental Health Nurses are specialist registered nurses with key responsibilities to assess, plan and provide care for people who are often vulnerable and in crisis. Advance your nursing career with the Graduate Diploma in Mental Health Nursing, which would enhance your ability to deliver recovery focused care in a variety of mental health settings.
Professionally recognised

This diploma is a core requirement that can be used in your application to be credentialed by the Australian College of Mental Health Nurses, which will allow you to practice as a recognised Mental Health Nurse. Upon graduation, you will be able to access a Graduate Diploma allowance under the Victorian Public Mental Health Nurses award and seek promotional positions that require this qualification.
