During your studies, you will have the flexibility to specialise in either advanced automotive design and development or automotive manufacturing.

Using contemporary engineering methods and computational and experimental tools, including advanced computer-aided engineering software such as LS-DYNA, you’ll gain hands-on experience in several state-of-the-art experimental facilities—including the full-scale Vehicle Wind Tunnel, Driverless Vehicles Lab, Green Engines Research Laboratory and Vehicle NVH Laboratory.

The Master of Engineering (International Automotive Engineering) promotes hands-on practice by incorporating a project that will enable you to apply the learned technologies to a real-world automotive system application.

This degree focuses on sustainable design and manufacturing practices based on the entire lifecycle (from 'cradle to grave') of vehicles. This incorporates the design for disposal and recycle, disassembly, lifecycle assessment, alternative fuels, and powertrains and light structures.

A final-year research project forms an essential part of this degree. Through this self-selected project (from a range of available topics), you will draw on not only the advanced engineering skills you have built, but also coursework around ethical, economic and social responsibility.

It also includes other therapies such as acupuncture, cupping (applying a heated cup to the skin to create suction) and tui na (remedial massage).

The emphasis is on the integration of Chinese medicine and western medical sciences, working together with the health community to provide the community with skilled health practitioners in Chinse medicine. Advanced clinical training is provided in Australia and China (where practicable) to broaden your clinical experience.

Graduates will be able to practise Chinese herbal medicine and acupuncture at an internationally accepted level, with the capacity to launch careers in independent practice, or working within healthcare organisations as a Chinese medicine practitioner registered with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).

With advanced technical expertise and research skills, graduates of the Master of Food Science and Technology are fully-equipped to participate in the rapidly advancing field of food science and technology and apply their expertise in inter-disciplinary contexts.

You’ll develop skills and knowledge of food processing and preservation; chemical properties of food materials; food safety, packaging and labelling; and food product and process innovation. This selective-entry, research-oriented honours degree is designed for capable and highly-motivated students who want hands-on involvement in research projects.

It prepares you for the compulsory one-year internship that you will need to complete in order to gain Australia-wide registration as a pharmacist.

Once you've successfully completed the degree and the internship, you will be registered to practise in any area of pharmacy in Australia, including community or hospital pharmacy.
