In RMIT's Bachelor of Pharmaceutical Sciences, you will learn about the human body and the use of drugs to treat disease.

Throughout your pharmaceutical studies, you will develop knowledge about the human body, the action of drugs in them, and ways in which the pharmaceutical industry can deliver more reliable, accessible and effective treatments.

The Asian region is a key growth area for the aviation market, with double-digit growth rates in air traffic across China, Hong Kong and Singapore. Massive passenger growth means many more aircraft, larger and more airports, and larger and new airlines. This points to a need for more aerospace engineers, and more aviation-related employees.

During your study in the Master of Engineering (Aerospace), you'll learn how to analyse complex engineering assets in the aerospace and aviation environment; and you will develop engineering, scientific and technological solutions to ensure problem-free operations. Your skills will be further sharpened with systematic problem-solving and adherence to engineering/technological systems design methodologies operating in the industry.

RMIT's Bachelor of Food Technology and Nutrition will provide you with a foundational knowledge of the science of manufacturing food and making it safe and nutritious.

You will learn how to develop novel, healthy and functional food products that meet consumer demands and comply with strict safety and health guidelines.

Major in food technology or nutrition (or both). The nutrition major focuses on human health and nutrition subjects, while the food technology major deals with traditional and novel technologies employed in the manufacture of food products, as well as sensory evaluation of foods, product development and quality assurance.

Study in world-class laboratories and facilities. A significant amount of time will be spent in the laboratory and at RMIT's multi-million dollar Food Innovation and Research Centre, undertaking production trials and development projects.

This diploma is a core requirement that can be used in your application to be credentialed by the Australian College of Mental Health Nurses, which will allow you to practice as a recognised Mental Health Nurse. Upon graduation, you will be able to access a Graduate Diploma allowance under the Victorian Public Mental Health Nurses award and seek promotional positions that require this qualification.

The School of Health and Biomedical Sciences conducts research in the area of ageing and chronic disease, including:

• Dementia, depression and cognitive impairment in chronic disease
• Early-life determinants of chronic disease
• Hearing loss and tinnitus
• Postural balance and dizziness in the elderly
• Sleep disorders

You will undertake clinical or experimental research in one of these fields with an individual supervisor overseeing your development and progress.

Research is undertaken in a strongly multi-disciplinary environment that brings clinical and basic researchers together to undertake novel research at the boundaries between discipline

You'll examine how such disorders affect biomechanics, the nervous system and health in general. The focus is on manual treatments such as spinal adjustments and other joint and soft-tissue manipulation.

Anatomy, physiology and pathology courses underpin the clinical science studies of physical examination, differential diagnosis for the chiropractor and clinical practicum.

You will begin work-integrated learning immediately, culminating in your fourth year when you will perform patient-care duties with supervision from a registered practitioner.

At the RMIT Health Clinic at University Hill, Bundoora, fourth and fifth year students, under the supervision of registered chiropractors, treat patients using a wide variety of management approaches.

It is a unique supervisor-guided independent research project with complimentary workshops in research methods and scientific communication appropriate to your chosen research discipline. Specifically, the benefits of an honours degree are:
