You will learn how to install, operate and troubleshoot medium enterprise routers and switches, design user experience (UX) solutions, build dynamic websites, design and integrate databases, design, build and test network servers, and more. The Graduate Diploma in Journalism is designed to enhance your undergraduate qualification with focused study in journalism. This one-year diploma sets you up for a career as a journalist by allowing you to explore all forms of contemporary journalism and put modern practice into its legal, ethical and social context. 

As part of the curriculum, you will present and produce live radio news for community radio station RRR and our live-to-air television news program, Newsline, as well as create text and data reports for our publication The City Journal.

You will work individually with our work placement coordinator to find at least one internship as part of your study.

RMIT's Bachelor of Engineering (Chemical Engineering) (Honours) will equip you with the skills and knowlege to design sustainable processes and products for the benefit of society, environment, and businesses.

In this chemical enginering degree, you’ll cover the application of chemical sciences, physics, and biological sciences and technology, to design and improve industrial processes such as water purification, food production and processing, or develop products such as cosmetics or pharmaceuticals.

You’ll learn how to make processing industries work more efficiently and minimise their environmental impact by using less energy and producing less waste. The Master of Human Resource Management degree focuses on a diverse global workforce. You will develop critical awareness of the legal, ethical, social, economic and environmental challenges and implications of HR strategy, operations, processes and decision making.

You will understand the application of HR practice within small and medium enterprises, including start-ups and entrepreneurial firms, and the public and not for profit sectors as well as multinational corporations.

This degree meets the needs of people with no previous formal HR qualifications who wish to enter the HR profession, as well as people with extensive experience who wish to update their knowledge of contemporary global thinking.

This advanced diploma provides you with the advanced technical and managerial skills needed for technicians and engineers working in aerospace manufacturing, design and maintenance at a paraprofessional level.

You’ll be equipped to work in small to large enterprises, as well as the defence forces.

Aircraft maintenance engineers work on aircraft engines, airframes, airframe systems, electrics, instruments, radio systems, and aircraft sheet metal work.

Specialist areas include:

• Aircraft design and layout
• Mechanical (fault diagnosis of airframe and engine systems)
• Structures (producing, maintaining and repairing sheet metal, bonded and non-metallic composite materials and components on aircraft).

Develop a nuanced understanding of, and undertake research in writing and publishing culture in both an Australian and a global context with the Master of Writing and Publishing.
