There continues to be a high demand for enrolled nurses, and job expectations in this field are strong. In this nationally-accredited diploma, you will gain the skills to help provide acute, curative and rehabilatative care under the direction of a registered nurse.

You’ll learn to work with patients of all ages in different environments. There is a focus on aged care, community, acute care and mental health. You’ll also learn how to administer intravenous medications and gain the skills in acute care, which involves medical and surgical nursing skills.

RMIT's Bachelor of Engineering (Aerospace Engineering) (Honours) / Bachelor of Business double degree provides you with the capability to play a pivotal role in planning, implementing and managing aerospace projects and developments in a wide range of industries that require high level business skills.

The aerospace engineering degree is concerned with analysing, designing and operating sophisticated aeronautics and astronautics hardware and software systems, while the business degree is concerned with organisational planning, coordination and resource direction.

You will graduate from the aerospace degree with an internationally recognised qualification, enabling you to have a global career as a leader in a wide range of industries and organisations.

With an extensive range of majors and minors to choose from, you can personalise your degree, developing specialist skills in your area of interest. Specialisations include aircraft techologies, spacecraft technolgies, aviation industry, accounting, finance and international business.

Work integrated learning is embedded throughout the degree, providing you with practical experience and employability skills. Hands-on learning experiences include capstone projects, industry placements, and participation in the Engineers Without Borders Challenge.

This Qualification has been superseded by the Department of Education, Skills and Employment and will change in 2023.

You can still apply for this program and you will be supported to transfer into the new qualification once it becomes available. This may result in changes to the program structure, content and fees.

In this advanced diploma course, you’ll gain the practical and technical skills to work with civil engineers on the design and construction of infrastructure projects.

The Advanced Diploma of Engineering (Civil Engineering Design) also provides a pathway to an engineering degree.

Civil and structural engineering involves the design and construction of roads, airports, railways, buildings, bridges, dams and drainage systems.

You’ll develop skills:

• Using computer-aided drafting (CAD) software to produce detailed drawings, plans and designs for construction work
• Doing cost estimates and preparing material specifications
• Liaising with construction workers and project managers
• Inspecting completed works to ensure they meet specifications and regulations
• Conducting laboratory and/or field testing of materials, soil and water quality.
