In the Advanced Diploma of Engineering Technology - Electrical, you'll learn to design, validate, and evaluate electrical equipment and systems, as well as provide technical advice and sales.

Electrical engineers design and maintain electrical systems to improve the production and distribution of energy. As our society increasingly depends on electrical and electronic devices, electrical engineers are in high demand.

In your career as an electrical engineer, you will design and maintain electrical systems in areas like aerospace, power utilities, mining, oil and gas, wind and solar food and beverages, pharmaceuticals, data centres, transport and logistics, and many others.

The Master of Interior Design will provide you with an opportunity to position yourself in relation to current interior design practice through collaboration with clients, industry and a network of peers.

You’ll develop skills and knowledge of food processing and preservation; chemical properties of food materials; food safety, packaging and labelling; and food product and process innovation. You will also undertake subjects to support the wide range of technical positions required by the food industry.

In consultation with your discipline honours coordinator and your supervisor, you'll be allocated a project to develop your skills to an advanced level.

Construction is not just about building sites, but about building a bigger picture: the planning, coordination, and control of a project from inception to delivery.

In this diploma, you'll examine the principles, techniques and regulations of the building and construction industry for all types of medium-rise and wide-span buildings up to 25 metres high.

This practical curriculum incorporates hands-on work and project-based learning. You'll experience many aspects of building projects and understand how they all relate to each other. You’ll go on site excursions to gain hands-on field experience which will include visits to residential and commercial construction projects.

Graduates have the option to continue further studies in construction, project management, or property services with RMIT.
