Industrial design links industry and economy with people, culture, society and environment, while mechanical engineering involves the conversion and control of energy and motion in machinery and systems.

In consultation with your discipline honours coordinator and your supervisor, you'll be allocated a project to develop your skills to an advanced level.

In the Master of Occupational Health and Safety (OHS), you will explore the application of scientific principles to understand risks to the safety of people in workplaces, and the actions required to control them.

It is a multidisciplinary profession with applications in all industries and commerce. 
Both community expectation and government legislation demand an increasingly higher level of protection for employees and the community from risks that threaten their safety and health. As such, there is also an increasing demand in society for professionals with experience and qualifications in OHS.

Whether you’re working on a home, office, hotel, commercial environment or something unique, this course is designed to give you the creative skills you need to build a career in the field of interior design.

In this dynamic, practical, industry-relevant course, you'll learn 2D and 3D design skills and the decorative aspect of design. You’ll delve into the exploration of colour, materials and finishes, interior construction techniques, soft furnishings, and fabrics and furniture. With research and practical tasks across historical and contemporary styles and trends, you’ll develop high-level documentation and technical skills in order to respond to professional briefs for both residential and commercial clients.

You'll develop a deeper understanding of commercial and residential interiors, spatial layout, furnishings and decorative treatments, and the documentation process.

As an interior designer, you will:

• Develop well-planned and functional spaces
• Decorate residential and commercial environments
• Draw sketches and produce samples of your design ideas
• Source paint colours, lighting, furniture and flooring

RMIT's Bachelor of Engineering (Aerospace Engineering) (Honours) / Bachelor of Business double degree provides you with the capability to play a pivotal role in planning, implementing and managing aerospace projects and developments in a wide range of industries that require high level business skills.

The aerospace engineering degree is concerned with analysing, designing and operating sophisticated aeronautics and astronautics hardware and software systems, while the business degree is concerned with organisational planning, coordination and resource direction.

You will graduate from the aerospace degree with an internationally recognised qualification, enabling you to have a global career as a leader in a wide range of industries and organisations.

With an extensive range of majors and minors to choose from, you can personalise your degree, developing specialist skills in your area of interest. Specialisations include aircraft techologies, spacecraft technolgies, aviation industry, accounting, finance and international business.

Work integrated learning is embedded throughout the degree, providing you with practical experience and employability skills. Hands-on learning experiences include capstone projects, industry placements, and participation in the Engineers Without Borders Challenge.

Use your advanced research skills to contribute to new developments in radiotherapy, diagnostic medical procedures and health physics.

This program is assessed by both a research project and the completion of five courses.

The research project is in medical or health physics, and is examined by thesis.

The coursework is vocationally relevant to radiotherapy, diagnostic imaging, radiation protection and health physics, and is available in online mode.

You will complete Research Methods for Sciences in your first semester. Four other courses will be undertaken in subsequent semesters.

The program is accredited by the Australasian College of Physical Scientists and Engineers in Medicine (ACPSEM) as an approved postgraduate qualification forming a compulsory component of the requirements to become a certified medical physicist.

Research activities are conducted within related research institutes and groups including the Applied Electromagnetics and Radiation Physics Research Group.
