Financial Planning

Acknowledged by the national and international architectural profession, the Bachelor of Architectural Design is designed to help you develop a rich understanding of architecture, and build a diverse set of skills that will carry you through your career.

Learn in an environment that is similar to a cutting-edge architectural design firm. Through your core and elective subjects, you'll have the opportunity to focus on your drawing, 2D and 3D design skills, and will be surrounded by like-minded creatives. You'll combine both experimental and speculative design with practical projects, and engage with real-life industry projects to expand your knowledge and help you discover innovative approaches to problem solving.

Learning from internationally-recognised and award-winning architects alongside visiting national and international experts, consultants and specialists, you will explore the core skills required of an architect and architectural designer. As a student, you will be immersed in new ideas and perspectives that will develop your design and communication skills.

Construction is not just about building sites, but about building a bigger picture: the planning, coordination, and control of a project from inception to delivery.

In this diploma, you'll examine the principles, techniques and regulations of the building and construction industry for all types of medium-rise and wide-span buildings up to 25 metres high.

This practical curriculum incorporates hands-on work and project-based learning. You'll experience many aspects of building projects and understand how they all relate to each other. You’ll go on site excursions to gain hands-on field experience which will include visits to residential and commercial construction projects.

Graduates have the option to continue further studies in construction, project management, or property services with RMIT.

The Advanced Diploma of Screen and Media (Content Creation and Design) is delivered as part of a sequence, beginning with the Diploma of Screen and Media (Animation, Gaming and Visual Effects).

Upon satisfactory completion of the diploma you will be eligible to progress to the advanced diploma.

This advanced diploma gives you the broad base necessary to move ahead in the art, design, screen and media industries. RMIT is renowned as Australia's leader in screen, interactive and new media education. The Bachelor of Design (Animation and Interactive Media) looks at animation in all its forms, from the animated character to motion graphics across linear and interactive environments. Presented in a creative environment, this degree focuses on intellectual investigation and conceptual development.

Upon graduating, you will demonstrate aesthetic and intellectual maturity, as well as strong technical abilities within design, media and art disciplines.
