RMIT's Bachelor of Applied Science (Aviation) focuses on the operational, managerial and planning aspects of airlines, airports, and associated industries.

In consultation with your discipline honours coordinator and your supervisor, you'll be allocated a project to develop your skills to an advanced level.

Building on the capabilities you acquired at undergraduate degree level, you’ll design and develop a research project and complete a scholarly thesis as you undertake advanced coursework, which provides a firmer grounding in the field and in research methods.

With the Master of Communication Design you will develop expertise in communication design practice, and focus on design entrepreneurship and strategic design thinking.

Push your creative boundaries and think critically to find design solutions to communication challenges.
Develop expert knowledge and specialised technical and creative skills to prepare for professional roles in multidisciplinary environments, including communication design studios, digital design consultancies, advertising agencies, design teams within other organisations, and in independent practices. In the Diploma of Information Technology you will be guided by experienced teachers with extensive industry experience to develop a project portfolio designed to help launch a career in IT.

You will learn how to install, operate and troubleshoot medium enterprise routers and switches, design user experience (UX) solutions, build dynamic websites, design and integrate databases, design, build and test network servers, and more. Develop specialist knowledge in quantitative measurement and the evaluation of safe radiation exposure for patients and staff.

Medical physicists are employed in the fields of radiotherapy, medical imaging, nuclear medicine and associated research and regulatory divisions of non-hospital institutions.
You’ll develop the skills to critically evaluate and optimise the performance of medical equipment and procedures and use your problem-solving abilities to analyse outputs, diagnose problems and provide quality assurance for patient treatments.

Using specialist knowledge in instrumentation, and quantitative measurement you will optimise the safe and effective use of radiation for patient care.

Using your initiative together with a high degree of independence, you’ll be instrumental in the evaluation and implementation of new technologies and in the translation of research into professional practice.

Medical physicists are important advisors to their team of professionals who often include oncologists, radiologists, therapists, technologists, biomedical engineers, allied health professionals and safety advisers.
