The Bachelor of Communication (Public Relations) prepares you for the increasingly globalised, technology-driven world of public relations within corporate, government, not-for-profit and consultancy environments.

This degree includes subjects in strategic communication and theory, principles, research, and contextual studies. Studying in the heart of Melbourne, you'll build practical and technological teaching skills, and develop a deep theoretical understanding of how students learn. As you learn, you will be integrated into school settings to gain classroom experience. 

This degree emphasises industry experience and theoretical understanding, with plenty of guidance from academic professionals to help you to positively influence the lives of your students.

This masters degree may be undertaken in a project, thesis with publication or thesis mode. Prospective candidates should discuss these modes of submission with their potential supervisor.

The School of Engineering has excellent laboratory facilities for rheology, materials characterisation, polymer processing, and water quality and treatment. We also have facilities for the conduct of lab and pilot scale investigations which are complemented by a comprehensive range of general and specialist analytical equipment. You will also have the opportunity to use RMIT’s state-of-the-art, multi-million dollar MicroNano Research Facility.
