The Master of Engineering (Manufacturing) explores sustainable engineering, Industry 4.0 technologies and biomedical manufacturing, and more.

The Master of Engineering (Robotics and Mechatronics Engineering) prepares you to lead the introduction of new technologies and operating practices in advanced manufacturing and a range of other technical industries including robotics and mechanical systems design, mechatronics and micro- and nano-technology.

Finance
This major will enhance your analytical and problem-solving abilities and develop your understanding of the principles of finance.

This advanced diploma provides you with the advanced technical and managerial skills needed for technicians and engineers working in aerospace manufacturing, design and maintenance at a paraprofessional level.

You’ll be equipped to work in small to large enterprises, as well as the defence forces.

Aircraft maintenance engineers work on aircraft engines, airframes, airframe systems, electrics, instruments, radio systems, and aircraft sheet metal work.

Specialist areas include:

• Aircraft design and layout
• Mechanical (fault diagnosis of airframe and engine systems)
• Structures (producing, maintaining and repairing sheet metal, bonded and non-metallic composite materials and components on aircraft).

Learn to produce innovative and compelling content across a wide range of existing and emerging media platforms.

The Bachelor of Communication (Media) program uniquely integrates practical production, conceptual analysis and critical reflection with professional industry knowledge to produce critically informed contemporary media professionals who are creative, socially aware and multi-skilled communicators. 

At the end of the degree the portfolio you create will demonstrate your abilities to produce, operate and innovate within a rapidly changing media environment.

The Master of Statistics and Operations Research will develop your knowledge of statistical and operations research methodologies.

You’ll combine a theoretical foundation with practical applications of current techniques employed by practising engineers, scientists and other professionals in industry, research, consulting, teaching and business.
This is achieved using statistical software accompanied by an in-depth understanding of the statistical processes involved.

You will be particularly knowledgeable, creative and critical in the sense of how you interpret and analyse data. You will also be equipped with the ability to apply knowledge to solve a wide range of real-world problems.

You’ll be exposed to a wide variety of analytics tools including R, SQL, SAS Enterprise Guide, SAS Enterprise Miner, Python, Java, CPLEX, Gurobi and Arena.

The program includes an industry project component and/or minor thesis which will develop your consulting and research skills.

Based on your previous studies you may be eligible for exemptions that may shorten your program duration by up to one year full-time.

With a clear focus on design, the Bachelor of Design (Digital Media) offers you the opportunity to explore diverse aspects of media, and gain a strong digital media literacy.

Combining theory with practical industry-based knowledge, you will develop a digital media design specialisation in interactive media, digital video, digital sound, or digital environments.

You’ll build the right skills to communicate and work effectively with a variety of stakeholders, including regulatory authorities and a wide range of consultants associated with the design, construction and building services.

Throughout your studies and beyond, you’ll have opportunities to contribute to the ongoing development of the building industry and the built environment.

Day-to-day, you can expect to be involved in working to client briefs, preparing architectural drawings and building specifications and visiting building sites for analysis and investigation. You’ll also analyse bushfire attack levels, environmental factors, liaise with engineers, quantity surveyors, building surveyors and planning professionals and working to local council codes, by-laws and national regulations.

Designed to equip you with in-depth knowledge of this essential field, the Bachelor of Accounting will prepare you for a challenging and varied career.

Offering practical knowledge through core studies in both accounting and law, the skills you acquire through this degree will enable you to analyse and evaluate data and information throughout the accounting discipline.
